Sequences and dialer
Power dialer vs. parallel dialer
The power dialer calls your numbers one after another; the parallel dialer calls 2 to 4 at the same time. Here's how to pick the right mode in a sequence.
Updated on October 27, 2026
Skipcall dials the numbers in your sequences for you. The Simultaneous calls setting decides the mode: 1 call is the power dialer, 2 to 4 calls is the parallel dialer.
Power dialer: one number after another
With Simultaneous calls set to 1 call, the numbers in the sequence are dialed one after another. You move from call to call without dialing each number by hand.
Parallel dialer: up to 4 numbers at once
With 2 calls, 3 calls, or 4 calls, several numbers are dialed at the same time. The maximum is 4 simultaneous calls.
Choose the mode in a sequence
- In the left menu, click Sequences.
- Open the sequence.
- In the Call settings panel, open the Simultaneous calls list.
- Choose 1 call (power dialer) or 2 calls, 3 calls, or 4 calls (parallel dialer).
- Click Launch sequence.
The other settings in the panel (caller number, automatic voicemail and text) are covered in Sequence call settings.
Automations work with both modes
Whichever mode you use, a sequence can:
- automatically drop a pre-recorded voicemail on answering machines (Voicemail if answering machine);
- automatically send a text message template (SMS if answering machine).
These automations count against your license’s automation counter.
FAQ
How do I call several numbers at the same time?
In the sequence, go to Call settings > Simultaneous calls and pick 2, 3, or 4 calls.
I can’t go above 4 simultaneous calls
That’s expected: 4 simultaneous calls is the maximum.
Can I use the power dialer outside a sequence?
The automatic dialer runs from a sequence. For a one-off call, use the Dialpad or the Call button on a contact record. See Call a number with the dialpad.
