The problem

Over an hour of prospecting, conversation is the minority

Unanswered rings, voicemail greetings listened to then hung up on, invalid numbers, switchboards to get past: the share genuinely spent talking to someone stays low, however diligent the rep.

A parallel dialer attacks exactly that point: it dials several numbers at once and only passes you the one that connects.

Up to four lines, and never a call with nobody at the end

Skipcall dials up to four numbers in parallel, and only when a rep is available to take the call. Voicemails are identified by AI and screened out. The first human answer is passed to you instantly and the other lines are dropped: the connection runs on technology built in-house, which makes it the best-performing dialer on the market on that specific point.

What happens during a session

01
Import One list, from a CSV or from your CRM

You import a file or sync a segment from HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce or Attio. The open REST API lets you plug in any other tool in your stack. On-demand enrichment fills in the missing numbers.

02
Dialling Up to 4 numbers dialled at the same time

The engine dials up to four numbers in parallel, and only when a rep is free to take the call. That is what separates a parallel dialer from a predictive dialer: no call is ever placed with nobody to answer it.

03
Screening Voicemails filtered out

AI recognises voicemail greetings with a stated 95% accuracy, along with invalid numbers and switchboards. The line is released with no intervention, and dialling carries on.

04
Connection A human picks up, the other lines drop

The moment a person answers, the conversation is handed to your rep and the other lines are dropped. The switch is instant: it runs on a connection engine built in-house rather than a component bought from a carrier, which makes Skipcall the fastest dialer on the market at that precise moment.

05
Documentation Recording, transcript and summary, automatically

Included from the Starter plan, with no paid add-on. The contact record opens on its own during the call and the outcome of the attempt is logged there.

06
CRM sync A full history inside your CRM

Every attempt and its outcome is pushed to HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce or Attio in real time, and to the rest of your tools through the open REST API.

Parallel dialer and predictive dialer, the difference that counts

Skipcall parallel dialer Predictive dialer
What triggers the call A rep who is available A statistical forecast of the answer rate
Call with nobody at the end Impossible by design Possible: this is the abandoned call
Lines per rep Up to four Variable, set by the algorithm
Voicemails Screened out by AI, 95% accuracy Depends on the vendor
What the prospect gets Someone on the line as they answer Possible silence before being connected
Usual territory B2B prospecting, small teams High-volume call centres, 20 agents and up

Updated 4 September 2026. How a predictive dialer behaves varies from one vendor to the next and with how it is tuned; this table describes the operating principle, not any particular product.

Four gaps that hold up in practice

The volume of predictive dialling, without the abandoned call

A predictive dialer places more calls than it has free reps, betting on the answer rate. When the bet is wrong, the prospect picks up and hears nobody. A parallel dialer only dials for a rep who is already available: the situation cannot arise. In the UK, Ofcom treats a sustained abandoned call rate as persistent misuse of a network, and caps it for predictive dialling campaigns.

Output matters when the calls are counted

Under PECR, live marketing calls must not be made to anyone registered with the Telephone Preference Service or who has objected, and business subscribers can register with the CTPS. B2B prospecting remains possible, subject to UK GDPR rules on how the data is handled. With the number of lawful attempts bounded, what counts is no longer raw volume but what each attempt returns.

One licence, a published price

The Starter plan starts at €75 per month per licence, from a single licence, with recording and transcription included. Several parallel dialers on the market publish no price at all, impose a minimum number of seats, or charge for the analytics layer on top.

Hosted in France

The infrastructure is hosted in France, with a French cloud provider: processing falls under the GDPR and European law, with no transfer to a third country to document. Several heavily funded parallel dialers on the market are American and do not publish their hosting region.

The detail vendor by vendor — published pricing, where the data is hosted, verifiable reviews, what to check before signing — is in the 24 alternative pages and the 24 head-to-heads .

800,000+ calls a month
on the platform
Proven technology Infrastructure that holds up under load

Skipcall handles more than 800,000 calls a month on its platform. Scale is where infrastructure is actually judged: audio quality, line stability and the absence of dropped calls are not things a demo can show you — only volume can. That is precisely where newer or less robust solutions give way, and what this figure demonstrates.

Use case

A rep opens a session on a list of 400 contacts. The engine opens up to four lines, screens out the voicemails, and passes them the first answer.

They move from one conversation to the next without ever hearing an answerphone. By the end of the hour, every exchange has been recorded, transcribed and pushed to the CRM, and the number of conversations obtained can be measured.

Frequently asked questions

What is a parallel dialer? +

A parallel dialer is a dialer that calls several numbers at once for the same rep. As soon as a person picks up, the conversation is handed to them and the other lines are dropped. Combined with voicemail screening, it removes most of the dead time in a prospecting session: unanswered rings, answerphones, invalid numbers.

How many lines does Skipcall dial in parallel? +

Up to four lines at once. Some dialers on the market advertise more, up to ten: beyond a certain point the difficulty is no longer opening lines, it is never keeping the person who picked up waiting. Four lines for one available rep are enough to fill an hour with conversation.

How is that different from a predictive dialer? +

A predictive dialer places more calls than it has available reps, anticipating answers statistically. When the forecast is wrong, the prospect picks up and nobody answers them: that is the abandoned call. A parallel dialer only places calls for a rep who is already free, so it cannot produce that outcome. For B2B prospecting in the UK, that is the decisive difference.

How many calls and conversations can I expect? +

150 to 200 calls an hour and a connect rate of around 8%, against 2 to 3% with sequential dialling. Those orders of magnitude assume a decent list of numbers: a poor file drags the output down whatever the tool.

How does voicemail screening work? +

AI analyses the start of the call to tell a human answer apart from a voicemail greeting, an automated switchboard or an invalid number, with a stated 95% accuracy. When it is not a human, the line is released without your rep having heard a thing.

Does the prospect hear silence before I come on the line? +

No. The connection is instant: the engine that switches the call to your rep is built in-house, and in any case the call is only placed for a rep who is already available. That silence on answer, typical of predictive dialers and of tools that rely on a third-party carrier component, is exactly what this design removes.

Is a parallel dialer legal in the UK? +

B2B prospecting remains possible, subject to the rules on handling personal data: a documented lawful basis, people informed, the right to object respected, and notice given before recording. Under PECR you must not make live marketing calls to individuals registered with the Telephone Preference Service or who have told you they object, and business subscribers can register with the CTPS; the ICO enforces both. A parallel dialer produces no call without someone on the line, unlike a predictive dialer, which removes the objection most often raised against automated dialling.

Is there anything to install? +

No. Skipcall runs in the browser with a headset, with no software to install and no hardware to plan for.

Where is the data hosted? +

In France, with a French cloud provider. Processing therefore falls under the GDPR and European law, with no transfer to a third country.
