Every call recorded, transcribed and summarised by AI
Every call is recorded, transcribed and summarised automatically, then attached to the contact record. You find what was said three months ago in three seconds.

What gets said on the phone does not outlive the call
A rep makes dozens of calls a day and writes down three lines. The objections heard, the competitors named, the budgets mentioned, the promises made: all of it exists for twenty minutes, then disappears.
It is your most direct source of information about your market, and the only one your company keeps no record of. Emails are archived, tickets are tracked, form submissions are stored. Conversations are not.
Every call becomes text, a summary and data
Skipcall records the call, transcribes it and produces a summary, then attaches all of it to the contact record and sends it to your CRM. Nobody has to trigger anything or retype anything. The next day the information is there: readable, searchable, and not only in the head of the person who made the call.
What happens after a call
No button to press, no third-party app to launch. Recording starts with the call and stops with it, on outbound and inbound calls alike.
AI transcribes the exchange as soon as the call ends. The text can be read and searched, so you find one precise sentence without listening back to twenty minutes of audio.
An AI-generated summary captures the essentials: what was asked, what was promised, what is still outstanding. That is what your colleague reads before picking the account back up, not the full transcript.
Date, duration, recording, transcript and summary land automatically on the contact record, next to the SMS messages and the previous calls. The history of the relationship builds itself.
The summary is pushed as a note into HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce or Attio, and the recording as a link or a file depending on what the CRM accepts. Your other tools reach the same data through the open REST API.
An objection, a competitor's name, a mention of budget: search runs on the text of every call, not only on the notes somebody took the time to write.
The same team, with and without this data
Updated 4 September 2026. Recording, transcription and summaries are included in the Starter plan and above, with no paid add-on.
What teams actually do with it
A manager who listens to two calls a week coaches on a sample. With transcripts, they compare the exchanges that convert with the ones that fail, across dozens of calls, and work on what is actually being said rather than on what anyone remembers.
Instead of listening in for three weeks, they read the last twenty calls that produced a meeting. The pitch that works is written down, not passed on by word of mouth and distorted at every retelling.
Your calls hold the exact words of your prospects: what they compare you with, what blocks them, the vocabulary they use. That is the raw material of a sales page or a product decision, and it exists nowhere else in the company.
When a rep leaves, what they knew about their accounts leaves with them. Here the history stays: the next person picks the account up by reading the summaries, without calling the client to make them repeat what they have already explained.
Recording a business call is lawful as long as you inform the people being recorded beforehand and rely on a documented lawful basis for the processing. In the United Kingdom the usual UK GDPR obligations apply, with the ICO as the supervisory authority: a defined purpose, a limited retention period, and access and erasure rights honoured. Recording a conversation without the participants knowing is not lawful, and the rules vary from one country to another.
That is why recording, retention and deletion settings are configurable to match your internal policy, why the data is hosted in France, and why a data processing agreement is made available to you.
A prospect asks for three more weeks and mentions in passing that they are comparing you with a competitor. The rep writes "follow up" and moves on to the next call.
Three weeks later, a colleague is the one calling back. They open the record, read the summary, find the competitor's name in the transcript, and pick the conversation up where it stopped, without making the prospect repeat themselves.
This data also feeds the dashboard and reaches your CRM. It builds itself during your campaigns on the power dialler or the parallel dialler.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly does each recorded call contain? +
The audio of the conversation, its written transcript and an AI-generated summary, along with the date, the duration and the outcome of the call. All of it is attached to the record of the contact you called.
Is it a paid add-on? +
No. Recording, transcription and summaries are included from the Starter plan, at 75 € per month per licence, from a single licence. Several vendors charge for call analysis on top of the telephony plan.
Can I search inside the transcripts? +
Yes, transcripts can be read and searched. That is what lets you find an objection or a mention of a competitor without listening back to calls one by one.
Does the summary reach my CRM? +
Yes. The summary is added as a note on the contact record in HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce or Attio, and the recording as a link or a file depending on what the CRM supports. For your other tools, the open REST API gives access to the same data.
Is it legal to record a call? +
Recording a business call is lawful provided you inform the people being recorded beforehand and rely on a documented lawful basis for the processing. In the United Kingdom, that means the usual UK GDPR obligations, with the ICO as the supervisory authority: a defined purpose, a limited retention period, and access and erasure rights honoured. Recording a conversation without the participants knowing is not lawful. Rules differ from one country to another, so check what applies where you and the people you call are based.
Can I decide what gets recorded and what gets kept? +
Yes. Recording, retention and deletion settings are configurable to match your internal policy. Skipcall also makes a data processing agreement (DPA) available.
Where is this data hosted? +
In France, with a French cloud provider. The processing therefore falls under the GDPR and European law, with no transfer to a third country to document. That matters when the data in question is recorded sales conversations.
Do I need to install software to use it? +
No. Skipcall runs in the browser with a headset. Recording, transcription and summaries trigger on their own, with no extension and no bot joining the conversation.
Does Skipcall speak instead of my reps? +
No. The AI transcribes, summarises and screens out voicemails: it never holds the conversation. Skipcall is an outbound calling tool for human sales reps, not an automated voice agent.
