Connect HubSpot to Skipcall

Generate an access token in HubSpot, paste it into Skipcall, run the setup wizard, then build sequences straight from your HubSpot lists.

Updated on October 27, 2026

HubSpot connects to Skipcall with an access token: you generate it in HubSpot, then paste it into Configuration > Integrations. Once connected, you can create sequences right from your HubSpot lists.

Before you start

  • You need the admin role in HubSpot.
  • You need to be an admin of the Skipcall workspace you’re connecting.

Step 1: generate the token in HubSpot

  1. In HubSpot, open the Development menu on the left.
  2. Click Legacy apps, then Create.
  3. Choose Private for one account.
  4. Name the app, for example Skipcall.
  5. Open the Scopes tab, then click Add new scope.
  6. Add the scopes listed below.
  7. Click Create app, then Continue creating.
  8. Open the Auth tab, click Show token, then Copy.

Scopes to add:

crm.objects.contacts.read
crm.objects.contacts.write
crm.schemas.contacts.read
crm.objects.companies.read
crm.schemas.companies.read
crm.objects.owners.read
crm.lists.read
crm.lists.write
crm.objects.custom.read
crm.objects.custom.write
crm.schemas.custom.read

Step 2: paste the token into Skipcall

  1. In Skipcall, click Configuration in the left menu.
  2. Open the Integrations tab.
  3. On the Hubspot card, click Connect.
  4. Paste your access token and confirm.

Step 3: set up the sync

The setup wizard opens:

  1. Contacts: map each Skipcall field to a HubSpot field.
  2. Users: click Auto-map by email to link your Skipcall members to their HubSpot users.
  3. Tasks: choose whether to import your HubSpot tasks.
  4. Calls: choose whether to attach your call recordings in HubSpot.
  5. Sync: review the summary, then start the sync.

Create a sequence from a HubSpot list

  1. Open Sequences.
  2. Click Create a sequence.
  3. Choose the HubSpot source (“Import from a HubSpot list”).
  4. Follow the steps on screen. Like any sequence, it must be assigned to at least one member.

In the sequence list, a small orange HubSpot icon appears next to some sequences. It normally means the sequence was created from HubSpot.

Manage or disconnect HubSpot

In Configuration > Integrations, click HubSpot’s gear icon to see the last sync, force a sync, check the history, or disconnect the integration. Your contacts are kept after you disconnect. Full details are in CRM integrations.

FAQ

My token stopped working

If a connection interrupted banner appears or the card shows Invalid key, the token has expired or been revoked. Generate a new one in HubSpot (step 1, Auth tab), then reconnect the integration.

Do I need to connect HubSpot in every workspace?

Yes. Integrations are set per workspace, so connect HubSpot in each workspace that should sync or build sequences from your HubSpot lists.
