Sequences and dialer
Create a call sequence
Create a call sequence in Skipcall from your existing contacts, a CSV file, or a HubSpot list, then assign it to one or more sales reps on your team.
Updated on October 27, 2026
A sequence is a list of contacts to call, assigned to one or more members of your team. It’s where you start a calling session with the power dialer or the parallel dialer.
You can create one from the Sequences menu or straight from your Contacts.
From the Sequences menu
- In the left menu, click Sequences.
- Click Create a sequence.
- Pick where your contacts come from: Skipcall, CSV file, or HubSpot.
Skipcall: your existing contacts
- Choose Select from your existing contacts.
- You land on Contacts with a Create a sequence window. Click Continue.
- Check the contacts you want to call in the table.
- Click Create a sequence in the selection bar.
- Enter the Sequence name.
- Pick one or more members under Who should this list be assigned to?.
- Confirm. You’ll see Sequence created successfully.
CSV file
Choose Import a CSV file to create a sequence, drop in your file, and follow the screens: you map your columns just like a regular contact import, then name the sequence and assign it to at least one member. To get your file ready, see Import contacts from a CSV file.
HubSpot
Choose Import from a HubSpot list. This option needs an active HubSpot integration in the workspace. If HubSpot isn’t connected, the app tells you no HubSpot account is connected and shows a Connect HubSpot button. See Connect HubSpot.
From the Contacts menu
This is often the fastest way, especially after filtering (by city, tag, company, and so on).
- Open Contacts and apply any filters you need.
- Check the contacts you want. To include every result, not just the current page, click Select all N contacts in the selection bar.
- Click Create a sequence.
- In the Create a new sequence window, enter the Sequence name and pick members under Who should this list be assigned to?.
- Confirm.
To add contacts to a sequence that already exists, use Add to a sequence in the same selection bar instead. See Manage the contacts in a sequence.
Rename a sequence
In the sequence list, click the pencil icon next to the name, edit it, and confirm with the check mark. You’ll see a confirmation that the sequence name was updated. You can also open the sequence and use its ⋮ menu > Rename.
FAQ
I can’t create a sequence
First, make sure at least one member is selected under Who should this list be assigned to?. If you have the Member role and still can’t create one, a workspace admin can turn on Allow members to create sequences in Configuration > Permissions.
What’s next?
Once the sequence exists, set the caller number and the number of simultaneous calls: see Sequence call settings, then Run a sequence.
