Integrations and API
Create and manage your API keys
Create a Skipcall API key, restrict it to specific workspaces, find the public API documentation, and revoke keys you no longer use.
Updated on October 27, 2026
API keys give you access to the Skipcall public API. You manage them at the organization level in Settings > API keys, where you’ll also find the link to the documentation.
Open the API keys screen
- Click your name in the bottom-left corner to open the profile menu.
- Click Settings.
- Open the API keys section.
The screen reads “Manage your API keys to access the Skipcall public API.” and offers two buttons: View documentation and Create a key.
Create a key
- In Settings > API keys, click Create a key.
- Enter a Key name, for example Production, Staging, or the name of the tool that will use it.
- Under Workspace access, choose:
- All workspaces: the key can access all current and future workspaces;
- Specific workspaces: the key can only access the workspaces you select.
- Click Create key.
The keys table
For each key, the table shows:
- Name: the name you chose when creating it;
- Key: the truncated key, starting with sk_live_;
- Workspaces: All workspaces, or the name of the allowed workspace;
- Created on: the creation date;
- Last used: when the key was last used, or Never;
- a trash icon to delete the key.
Revoke a key
- Open Settings > API keys.
- Find the key you want to revoke. The Last used column helps you spot keys nobody uses (Never).
- Click the trash icon at the end of its row.
Where’s the API documentation?
In Settings > API keys, click View documentation. You can also go straight to docs.skipcall.app.
FAQ

Open APIs are included in all four plans. See the pricing page for details.
How do I limit a key to a single workspace?
When creating it, choose Specific workspaces instead of All workspaces, then select the workspace you want.
A key may have been exposed. What should I do?
Delete it with the trash icon in Settings > API keys, then create a new one and swap it into the tool that was using the old key.
