Native integration
Skipcall and Pipedrive: every call attached to the right deal
Your calls attach to the deal as much as to the person. The pipeline stops being a statement of intent and becomes a picture of what actually happened on the phone.

In brief
- Yes, Skipcall integrates natively with Pipedrive. No development, no third-party connector.
- The call attaches to the person and to the deal. It is that second link that makes the pipeline reflect real activity.
- Every call becomes a dated activity, with its duration, its outcome, its recording, its transcript and its summary.
- A Pipedrive filter becomes a call session: the deals to chase this week, the ones with no activity for ten days.
- Setting it up takes about five minutes.
Why it matters in Pipedrive
Pipedrive thinks in deals before it thinks in people. That is its strength: the team opens the pipeline in the morning and sees where each deal stands. It is also its weakness when phone activity is missing from it.
A call attached to the contact alone leaves the deal silent. The pipeline then shows a deal that looks frozen for three weeks, when in fact it has had four attempts and a twelve-minute conversation. The data exists, it is simply filed where nobody looks.
The consequence goes beyond convenience: a pipeline review happens on what the pipeline shows. A deal that is being worked but looks silent gets closed out, while an abandoned deal with a tidy record survives.
What lands in Pipedrive
✓The outcome of the call
Answered, voicemail, wrong number, refused, meeting booked: the status chosen updates the record without anyone typing it in.
✓The recording and its transcript
The audio and the full text of the conversation stay readable from the record, without switching tools.
✓The AI-written summary
The key points in a few lines, attached to the record. It is what the colleague who picks the account up six weeks later actually reads.
✓The date, the duration and the caller
Every call is dated, timed and attributed. Activity becomes measurable without anyone declaring it.
Where the information goes
The integration uses the Pipedrive vocabulary, not a generic one. Every element finds the object it belongs to.
| Pipedrive object | What attaches to it |
|---|---|
| Person | the record of the person called |
| Organization | the company the person belongs to |
| Deal | the open deal the call is attached to |
| Activity | the call, with its duration and its outcome |
| Note | the summary of the conversation |
Getting started
Allow five minutes. There is no bespoke development, no package to deploy and no file to prepare.
- Connect your Pipedrive account From Skipcall, you authorise access to Pipedrive. No development, no file to prepare, nothing needed from your vendor.
- Start from a filter A Pipedrive filter becomes a call session: the deals to chase this week, the ones with no activity for ten days, the leads from one campaign.
- Call, and the pipeline follows Activities are created during the session, on the person and on the deal. You do not touch Pipedrive: it updates itself.
What it changes day to day
For a sales team that runs its pipeline every day, three things change, and all three are about the reliability of the pipeline rather than the comfort of the rep.
- Frozen deals stand apart from deals being worked. A deal with no activity for a fortnight is a signal; the activities have to exist first.
- Forecasting rests on facts. The number of attempts before someone answers, the gap between two follow-ups: those figures become readable without being declared.
- Picking a deal back up does not start from nothing. The summary of the last call sits on the deal, not in the memory of whoever made it.
20 to 25
calls an hour when dialling by hand
60 to 80
with a power dialer, one number at a time
150 to 200
with a four-line parallel dialer
Those rates are exactly why automatic logging matters: at twenty-five calls a day, a rep can still write things up by hand. At a hundred and fifty they will not, and the data in Pipedrive becomes wrong without anyone noticing.
Before you switch recording on
Recording a call requires a documented lawful basis under the UK GDPR, information given to the people concerned beforehand, and a defined retention period; PECR governs the marketing calls themselves, and the ICO is the supervisory authority. These duties apply even when the recording is only used for internal training. The settings are configurable, so they can follow your own policy.
Beyond Pipedrive
If your organisation also leans on other tools, the three other native integrations are HubSpot, Salesforce and Attio.
What syncs, whichever tool you use, is set out on the CRM integration page. An open, documented REST API connects Skipcall to the rest of your systems, and the MCP connector opens your call data up to an assistant.
For what gets said once the line is open, the call script library gathers twenty ready-made frameworks. Plan details are on the pricing page.
Frequently asked questions
Does the call attach to the deal or only to the contact?
To both. The person called gets the activity on their record, and the open deal gets it too. It is that second link that makes the pipeline reflect real activity rather than intentions alone.
Can you call straight from a Pipedrive filter?
Yes. A filter or a list becomes a call session: the dialler works through the numbers and you only pick up the exchanges that connect.
What happens to the activity if the deal changes stage during the call?
The activity stays attached to the deal, whatever stage it moves to afterwards. The deal history therefore keeps a trace of what triggered the change of stage.
Do activities have to be created by hand afterwards?
No, and that is the main gain. An activity created by hand is an activity forgotten most of the time, which makes the Pipedrive statistics wrong without anyone noticing.
Do Pipedrive reports become more reliable?
Yes, mechanically. An activity report is only worth as much as the activities that feed it. When they are created automatically, the number of attempts before an answer and the gap between two follow-ups become measurements rather than estimates.
How much does the Pipedrive integration cost?
Nothing beyond your licence. It is included from the Starter plan, at €75 per licence per month, from a single licence and with no commitment.
