CloudTalk vs JustCall

CloudTalk bills its dialer at €39 per licence, JustCall does not publish the price of its own. What five reps really cost at one vendor and at the other.

We build Skipcall, and we sell to the same teams as CloudTalk and JustCall. We therefore have a commercial interest in you choosing neither, and you should read this page knowing that.

That is why Skipcall appears nowhere in the comparison below: not in the table, not in the verdict, not in the questions. Every claim here points to a dated public source, listed at the foot of the page. If something looks wrong, write to us: we will correct it and date the correction.

In short

The essentials in five sentences

  • CloudTalk and JustCall are two cloud telephony vendors that sell prospecting dialing outside their base plan: as of 8 September 2026, no plan published by either of them contains the dialer.
  • CloudTalk publishes the price of that extra: €39 per licence per month, to be added to the chosen plan. JustCall does not publish its own, because its dialer belongs to the Sales Suite, a separate offering sold on quotation.
  • For five reps, the CloudTalk total can be worked out before any contact with sales: €245 for the Expert plan at €49 per licence, plus €195 for the add-on, so €440 a month excluding tax as of 8 September 2026.
  • The same sum is impossible at JustCall: the public plans run from $29 to $49 per licence per month, but none of them contains the dialer, and the price of the offering that does is published nowhere.
  • The advertised entry prices, €25 at CloudTalk and $29 at JustCall, therefore do not compare: two different currencies, and in both cases a scope that excludes the very feature you came for.

Which of the two

If your decision has to fit a budget settled before the first demonstration, CloudTalk is the only one of the two that lets you do it: its total for five reps can be calculated as of 8 September 2026, at €440 a month excluding tax, dialing add-on included. If your team works its prospects by call, SMS and WhatsApp in the same tool, JustCall covers ground that CloudTalk does not, but you will have to enter a sales cycle to learn what the dialer costs. And if your recordings have to stay in the European Union, CloudTalk hosts them in Germany where JustCall hosts them in the United States.

The point that decides

A priced extra against a price that does not exist

The two vendors made the same commercial choice: taking prospecting dialing out of the telephony plan. They did not do it the same way. One publishes the price of the extra, the other keeps it for a quote. For the buyer, the difference is not one of price, it is one of method: on one side you compare, on the other you negotiate first.

At CloudTalk, the prospecting block is an add-on billed at €39 per licence per month, on top of the plan. It is billed per licence and not per account: it cannot be shared between reps. On the Expert plan, at €49 per licence per month, a team of five seats therefore pays €245 of plan and €195 of add-on, so €440 a month excluding tax. That amount can be reconstructed in full from the vendor's public pages, without speaking to anyone.

At JustCall, the public price list exists too, and on the face of it it reads more clearly: $29 per licence per month for the Team plan, $49 for the Pro plan, billed annually. But neither of those two plans contains the prospecting dialer. That sits in the Sales Suite, a separate offering for which the vendor publishes no amount. The one line in the catalogue whose price is missing is precisely the one a prospecting team comes looking for.

The practical consequence shows up when you draw a shortlist. A team of five reps can rule CloudTalk in or out on a spreadsheet, in fifteen minutes, because the €440 a month is a dated public fact. It can do nothing of the sort with JustCall: to find out whether the tool fits its budget, it first has to ask for a quote, and therefore enter a sales cycle. The cost is not only financial, it is also evaluation time.

One question stays open on the JustCall side, and it weighs heavily on the total: the vendor does not publish whether the Sales Suite replaces a telephony plan or is added to one. Until that answer is in writing, two very different invoice scenarios remain possible. It is the first question to ask, before the amount itself.

The licence minimums, for their part, do not separate the two tools at this team size. CloudTalk requires three licences on the Expert plan, JustCall requires two on its public plans: at five reps, neither constrains anything. Those floors only become a subject for a team of one or two seats.

Which one for which use

Two situations, two answers

CloudTalk is the right choice if

  • your budget has to be settled before the first demonstration: the total for five reps, add-on included, is public and comes to €440 a month excluding tax as of 8 September 2026
  • your call recordings have to stay in the European Union, since they are stored in Germany
  • you prospect across many countries and the depth of number coverage, more than 160, is decisive
  • your security file calls for published certifications, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 both appearing on the vendor's security page

JustCall is the right choice if

  • you work your prospects across several channels, calls, SMS and WhatsApp in the same tool
  • you want to read a large body of detailed reviews before deciding: more than 2,300 on G2, one of the fullest in the category
  • your CRM integrations come before data location, the hosting being in the United States
  • you accept entering a sales cycle to obtain a price, because the dialer's price cannot be had any other way

The limits

What each one does not do

CloudTalk limits

  • The parallel dialer is included in no plan: the add-on costs €39 per licence per month, billed per seat rather than per account, so €195 a month for five reps that do not appear on the pricing page.
  • The Expert plan, the only complete one, requires a minimum of three licences. The vendor also bills in advance and grants neither refund nor credit for the unused period.
  • On Trustpilot, 16% of the 785 reviews are one-star, and they are rarely about calling features: they concentrate on billing, refunds and support response times.
  • Only recordings and artificial intelligence data are stated to be in Germany. The other categories of data may be hosted in four AWS regions, including Northern Virginia, Singapore and Sydney.

JustCall limits

  • The Sales Suite, the only offering that contains the prospecting dialer and answering machine detection, is sold on quotation. It is the one price missing from the catalogue, and it is the price of the product a prospecting team comes to evaluate.
  • The public plans require a minimum of two licences: the real entry ticket is $58 a month, with no prospecting feature in return.
  • On Trustpilot, 18% of the 728 reviews are one-star, and they are about billing, termination terms and access to support rather than about features.
  • The contract is governed by the law of the State of Delaware, with exclusive jurisdiction of its courts and a waiver of jury trial and of class actions. Data is hosted in the United States, with transfers resting on standard contractual clauses that the buyer has to document.

What neither of them does

  • Neither includes prospecting dialing in its telephony plan: in both cases it is an extra line on the invoice, priced at CloudTalk and on quotation at JustCall.
  • Neither advertises support in French as of 8 September 2026. That is not an absence of support, it is an absence of written commitment: have the language and the hours stated before you sign.
  • Neither hosts all data in France. CloudTalk states Germany for recordings and four AWS regions for the rest, JustCall states the United States for everything.
  • None of the prices quoted on either side is a no-commitment price: the price lists recorded on 8 September 2026 are expressed on annual billing at both vendors.

Frequently asked questions

Short answers

CloudTalk or JustCall: which is cheaper for five reps?

The question cannot be settled as of 8 September 2026, because only one of the two publishes the price you need. At CloudTalk, five reps on the Expert plan with the parallel dialing add-on cost €440 a month excluding tax, that is €245 of plan at €49 per licence and €195 of add-on at €39 per licence. At JustCall, five Team licences at $29 come to $145 a month and five Pro licences at $49 to $245 a month, but neither of those plans contains the prospecting dialer, whose price is not published.

Do CloudTalk and JustCall include a prospecting dialer in their plans?

No, neither of them as of 8 September 2026. CloudTalk sells the parallel dialer as an add-on, at €39 per licence per month, on top of the chosen plan. JustCall places its dialer in the Sales Suite, a separate offering sold on quotation, which also contains answering machine detection. In both cases, the price shown on the pricing page buys telephony, not a prospecting tool.

Can CloudTalk's €25 and JustCall's $29 be compared directly?

No, for two cumulative reasons, both valid as of 8 September 2026. The first is currency: CloudTalk publishes in euros, JustCall in dollars, and the exchange rate moves the gap. The second matters more: those two amounts correspond to CloudTalk's Starter plan and JustCall's Team plan, neither of which contains any prospecting dialing. Comparing those two prices amounts to comparing two telephony subscriptions, not the tools being evaluated.

Is there a licence minimum at CloudTalk and at JustCall?

Yes at both, but not in the same place. CloudTalk requires a minimum of three licences on its Expert plan, the only complete plan, while its Starter and Essential plans start at one licence. JustCall requires a minimum of two licences on its public plans, which puts its real entry ticket at $58 a month. For a team of five reps, neither of those floors binds: they only weigh on teams of one or two seats.

CloudTalk or JustCall for a team based in France?

On data location, CloudTalk comes closer to a European requirement as of 8 September 2026: call recordings and artificial intelligence data are stored in Germany, even if other categories may sit in four AWS regions, including Northern Virginia. JustCall hosts in the United States and covers transfers with standard contractual clauses, and its contract falls under Delaware law with exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. Neither advertises support in French: have that stated in writing.

What do the public reviews say about CloudTalk and JustCall?

CloudTalk is rated 4.4 out of 5 on G2 across more than 1,600 reviews and 4.1 out of 5 on Trustpilot across 785 reviews, 66% of them five-star and 16% one-star. JustCall is rated 4.3 out of 5 on G2 across more than 2,300 reviews, one of the best documented bodies in the category, and 3.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot across 728 reviews, 75% of them five-star and 18% one-star. At both, the negative reviews are about billing, termination and support, rarely about calling features.

Can you move from CloudTalk to JustCall, or the other way round?

The obstacle recorded on 8 September 2026 is contractual before it is technical. At CloudTalk, the subscription is billed in advance and the vendor grants neither refund nor credit for the unused period: it is the renewal date that sets your window to leave. At JustCall, the contract falls under Delaware law, which makes it all the more useful to obtain in writing the notice period and the required form of a termination request. In both cases, note the renewal date before committing to anything.

Which of the two covers the broader functional scope?

The two do not extend in the same direction as of 8 September 2026. JustCall brings calls, SMS and WhatsApp together in one tool, with deep CRM integrations: that is breadth of channels. CloudTalk covers more than 160 countries for numbers and publishes its SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications: that is geographic and compliance depth. A multichannel team will lean towards the first, a team prospecting across many countries towards the second.
