Skipcall VS Kavkom

Head to head

Skipcall vs Kavkom: which one to choose

Both tools place calls, but they do not dial the same way and they do not serve the same job. This page settles a single question: which of the two for your team. It compares the dialling modes, a full working day, the plans and the quotas, with the calculation method on show.

Data checked on

The verdict, in three lines

What settles the choice is neither the price nor the feature list: it is the size of your organisation and the way your sales reps dial their calls.

Choose Kavkom if

You run a call centre floor, or you want telephony and CRM on the same subscription.

Switchboard, interactive voice response, call recording, statistics, hybrid CRM, predictive dialler and call bot brought together in a single product. Past a hundred or so employees, reception and supervision needs become complex, and that is the territory of the large telephony vendors. Skipcall does not claim to answer it.

Choose Skipcall if

You have fewer than a hundred employees and a team that prospects.

One tool for the whole company: four-line parallel dialling for the people who prospect, and a business number, inbound calls, voicemail, SMS and mobile and web apps for everyone else. That is where Skipcall belongs.

Skipcall targets companies with fewer than a hundred employees. Beyond that, telephony becomes a project in its own right, with several sites, several departments and reception rules: the large vendors answer that better than we do, and we would rather say so before you sign than in the third month.

What Kavkom does better than us

Four areas where the choice is not in question. Knowing them before you buy avoids a project that derails in the third month.

The contact centre layer

Skipcall receives calls on your numbers, with voicemail and mobile and web apps. What it does not have is the layer above: interactive voice response, call queues, distribution to a group of agents, real-time supervision. Kavkom advertises a switchboard, interactive voice response, call recording and statistics. A structured customer service team needs that layer.

The predictive dialler

Kavkom offers a predictive dialler and a call bot. Skipcall does not offer one and will not: our dialler opens four lines for a single sales rep. If your organisation is a large call centre floor whose binding constraint is agent occupancy, the predictive dialler is the dialling mode built for that.

The built-in CRM

Kavkom pairs telephony with a hybrid CRM: contacts, histories and pipelines live in the same product as the calls. Skipcall offers built-in contacts, a pre-CRM layer, and connects natively to HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce and Attio. If you are looking to replace your CRM at the same time as your telephony, that is not our scope.

The entry price and unlimited calls

Kavkom lists its Pack Basic at €8 per user per month on an annual commitment, against €15 for our Business VoIP licence, €12 on an annual commitment. The Pack Plus also advertises unlimited calls to landlines and mobiles in four destinations: France, the United States, Canada and Israel. We publish no equivalent list.

What Skipcall does better than Kavkom

The same exercise in reverse, and verifiable the same way: four areas where the gap runs in our favour.

A dialler tied to an available sales rep

Kavkom dials predictively: the system anticipates agent availability and launches more calls than there are free agents, a mode designed to keep a large floor occupied, which requires managing abandoned calls. Skipcall opens four lines tied to an available sales rep, filters out answering machines with artificial intelligence and only presents human pick-ups. No call is launched without someone to take it.

The dialler price list is public

Kavkom publishes a pricing page dedicated to its predictive dialler, but it shows no amount and points to a demo: a prospecting team’s budget cannot be set before the quote. Our price list is published in full and is not negotiated: €75 for Starter, €150 for Intermediate, €280 for Expert, per licence per month, with no licence minimum.

Outbound calls from the first plan

Kavkom’s Pack Basic, listed at €8 per user per month on an annual commitment, covers inbound calls only: making calls requires the Pack Plus, at €24 annually and €30 monthly. Our Business VoIP licence is €15 per month with no commitment, €12 on an annual commitment, inbound and outbound calls, with no licence minimum.

A price that depends on neither country nor status

The Pack Plus unlimited calls cover landlines and mobiles in four destinations: France, the United States, Canada and Israel. Beyond those, coverage falls under the Pack Custom, quoted individually, and the €24 annual rate is presented by the vendor as an offer reserved for small and medium-sized businesses registered in France. Our four plans are listed at the same price for everyone and differ by a conversation quota: 200, 400, 1,000, then unlimited.

Two families of tools, and only one that covers both

Most companies that prospect end up with two subscriptions: a telephony tool for everyone, a dialler for the sales team. That is the real hidden cost of this market, and it appears on no price list.

Business telephony

This is Kavkom’s family.

Reception, switchboard, interactive voice response, recording, statistics, and at Kavkom a built-in CRM plus a predictive dialler offered as an add-on.

No parallel dialling. The dialler is a separate module, designed for a call centre floor, and its price is not public.

Specialist parallel diallers

Tools built for a single job.

Several lines dialled at once, answering machine detection, callback cadences. Very effective in prospecting.

No telephony layer. The rest of the company, which simply needs a number and the ability to receive calls, has to be equipped elsewhere. So a second subscription.

Skipcall

Both, in the same tool.

Four-line parallel dialling on a par with the best specialists, and the full telephony layer: business number, inbound calls, voicemail, SMS, mobile and web apps.

Fewer reception features than a large telephony vendor, and no full CRM. That is a deliberate choice: past a hundred or so employees, an inbound specialist is the better fit.

Kavkom belongs to the first family, with a dialler offered as an add-on. At Skipcall, a €15 licence is enough to equip someone who simply needs a business number, an app and the ability to take their calls. The sales reps who prospect take a plan from €75, with parallel dialling. Same tool, same directory, same bill.

Everything comes down to the dialling mode

This is where the two tools diverge the most. Three mechanics coexist on the market, and they do not answer the same organisational constraint.

Sequential dialling

One number is dialled, the line rings, then the call connects or it does not. Only at the end of that sequence does the next number go out. The sales rep waits through the ringing, listens to the start of answering machine greetings and hangs up. It is the starting point of the numbers comparison below, because it is still the way most teams call today.

Predictive dialling

This is the mode Kavkom offers. The system estimates when an agent is about to free up and launches more calls than there are available agents, so that a pick-up lands at the moment someone hangs up. The constraint being optimised is the occupancy rate of a group of agents, which assumes a headcount large enough for the prediction to be reliable. When it is not, the answered call has nobody to be presented to and the person who picked up is met with silence.

Parallel dialling

This is the Skipcall mode, and we do not offer predictive dialling. Four numbers go out at the same time for one available sales rep. As soon as someone picks up, the other three lines are released and the rep is connected. The number of lines is fixed and tied to a person who is present, so no call is launched without someone to take it. Filtering by artificial intelligence removes answering machines, switchboards and invalid numbers before they reach them.

The difference lies in the unit being optimised: a group of agents on one side, a single sales rep on the other. A team of a few reps does not have the mass needed for a prediction to be reliable; a floor of several dozen agents does. It is an organisational criterion before it is a software one.

A typical day, hour by hour

Same sales rep, same list, same working hours. Only the dialling mode changes.

Time slot What happens Calls · sequential Calls · parallel
09:00 to 10:30 First run through the day’s list 45 150
10:30 to 12:30 Rest of the list and scheduled callbacks 60 200
14:00 to 15:30 Second pass on the morning’s no-answers 45 150
15:30 to 17:30 Final run and end-of-day notes 60 200
Total for the day 210 700
Conversations obtained 6 56

Assumptions on show: four working slots, a pick-up rate of 3% for sequential dialling, the top of our published range of 2% to 3%, and 8% for parallel dialling. These are the figures Skipcall publishes, applied to dialling modes and not to brands. We publish no rate for predictive dialling, so that mode does not appear in this table. The detail is in the "Method and sources" section, further down.

The cost per conversation, and why it can only be calculated on one side

Comparing two licence prices tells you nothing when the two tools do not dial the same way. What counts is what one conversation obtained costs. The calculation is possible on our side, from the typical day above and twenty working days a month. It is not possible at Kavkom, for want of a published dialler price.

Conversations: not published

Telephony alone: €24 annually, €30 monthly

Skipcall Expert

€0.25

per conversation

Licence: €280 per month

Conversations: 1,120 per month

Minimum: none

Kavkom publishes a pricing page dedicated to its predictive dialler, but it shows no amount and points to a demo. So we assume nothing: the column stays empty rather than putting forward a price. On the Skipcall side, the plan chosen is the one whose quota genuinely covers the projected volume, that is 1,120 conversations per month: Starter and its 400 conversations would be exceeded in the second week, Intermediate and its 1,000 conversations before the end of the month.

On telephony alone, however, the comparison is direct. Kavkom's Pack Basic is €8 per user per month on an annual commitment, but it covers inbound calls only: making calls requires the Pack Plus, at €24 annually and €30 monthly. Our Business VoIP licence is €15 monthly and €12 on an annual commitment, inbound and outbound calls, with no licence minimum.

Amounts exclude tax. The €24 annual rate is presented by Kavkom as an offer reserved for small and medium-sized businesses registered in France.

Our plans carry a conversation quota. Here is the one that suits you

Skipcall caps the number of conversations on three of its four plans. Better to explain it plainly: chosen badly, the plan becomes the real hidden cost.

Plan Price Conversations Who it suits
Business VoIP €15 200 Users who need a business number and a few calls a day, with no prospecting.
Starter €75 400 A sales rep who prospects part time, or a team getting started. Around 20 conversations per working day.
Intermediate €150 1,000 A sales rep whose main job is telephone prospecting. Around 50 conversations per working day.
Expert €280 Unlimited Very high volume teams, and those who would rather not watch a counter.

Any conversation longer than ten seconds counts. Calls under ten seconds, answering machines and invalid numbers consume nothing. Prices per licence per month, excluding tax, with no licence minimum, on monthly billing. Included SMS volumes follow the same steps: 100 on Business VoIP, 200 on Starter, 500 on Intermediate, 1,000 on Expert. The list of permitted calling countries is on the pricing page.

Our artificial intelligence serves the sales rep, it does not replace them

This is the fundamental difference between Skipcall and part of the market, in both directions: we put more of it in than the tools that have none, and we refuse to put it where others place it.

What our artificial intelligence does

It filters out answering machines, switchboards and invalid numbers before they reach the sales rep. It transcribes the call and produces a summary. In other words, it removes work that carries no value and leaves the work that does.

What it does not do

It does not speak for you. We do not offer a voice agent, and this is not a feature we are behind on: it is a position. To call a prospect or answer a customer, the best person for your company’s image is still a member of your team.

Why the relationship matters

A company that hands its conversations to a machine loses the direct link with its contacts. That link is hard to rebuild, and its weakening does not show up on a dashboard for several months.

Why cost matters too

Voice agents are billed per minute or per credit consumed. The bill follows the volume, it is hard to forecast, and the real effect on the customer relationship is hard to measure. A fixed-price licence stays a budget you control.

In one sentence

We automate what wastes your sales reps' time, never the conversation itself.

Dialling, screening out an answering machine, spotting an invalid number, transcribing, summarising: the machine does it better and without tiring. Talking to a customer or a prospect, no. That limit is also what keeps your budget predictable: a fixed-price licence, not per-minute billing that follows your volume.

Kavkom scope recorded on kavkom.com on 3 September 2026. "Not advertised" means the feature does not appear on the public pages consulted, which does not prejudge its absence from the product: ask the vendor to confirm. Plans change: check the pricing page before deciding.

Method and sources

A comparison published by one of the two vendors is only worth something if its method can be checked. Here is where every figure on this page comes from, including what it does not prove.

The prices

Skipcall prices are those of the public price list, excluding tax: €15 for the Business VoIP licence, then €75, €150 and €280 per licence per month on monthly billing, with no licence minimum. Kavkom prices are those shown on kavkom.com: Pack Basic at €8 on an annual commitment and inbound calls only, Pack Plus at €24 annually and €30 monthly, Pack Custom on request. The €24 annual rate is presented by the vendor as an offer reserved for small and medium-sized businesses registered in France.

The Kavkom dialler price is not published

Kavkom publishes a pricing page dedicated to its predictive dialler, but that page shows no amount and points to a demo. No cost per conversation is therefore calculated on that side of this page, and no amount is assumed. That is a limit of the comparison, not a result.

The pick-up rates

The 8% rate for parallel dialling and the 3% rate for sequential dialling, the top of our published range of 2% to 3%, are the figures Skipcall publishes on its product pages. They are our own figures, not an independent measurement, and they are not attributed to any named vendor: they describe two dialling modes, not two brands. We publish no rate for predictive dialling, so no figure on this page relates to that mode.

The typical day

The hourly table is an arithmetic projection based on the calling cadences and the rates above, across four working slots and twenty working days a month. It is not the record of a real day. Your own figures will depend on your list, your sector and your calling hours.

What we do not compare here

The vendor’s identity, its funding, where the data is hosted and public review scores do not appear on this page. They are covered, with sources, on the alternative to Kavkom page.

Frequently asked questions

Does Kavkom have a parallel dialler? +

No. Kavkom offers a predictive dialler and a call bot. The predictive dialler anticipates agent availability and launches more calls than there are free agents: it is built for large call centre floors. A parallel dialler dials a fixed number of lines for a single sales rep, filters out answering machines and only presents human pick-ups. These are two different mechanics, for two different organisations.

How much does the Kavkom dialler cost? +

The information is not public. Kavkom publishes a pricing page dedicated to its predictive dialler, but it shows no amount and points to a demo. A prospecting team’s budget therefore cannot be set without going through a quote. At Skipcall, the price list is public and is not negotiated: €75 for Starter, €150 for Intermediate, €280 for Expert, per licence per month, with no licence minimum.

Does Skipcall offer a predictive dialler? +

No, and there are no plans to. Skipcall dials four lines in parallel for one sales rep, then connects them to the first person who picks up. Because the number of lines is fixed and tied to an available rep, no call is launched without someone to take it. Predictive dialling answers a different problem: keeping a group of agents busy on a call centre floor.

Does Skipcall handle inbound calls the way Kavkom does? +

Partly. Skipcall receives calls on your numbers, with voicemail and mobile and web apps. It does not, however, offer interactive voice response, call queues, distribution to a group of agents or real-time supervision. If your team has to handle a structured flow of inbound calls, Kavkom is the better fit.

What is the cheapest plan for a user who does not prospect? +

At Kavkom, the Pack Basic is listed at €8 per user per month on an annual commitment, but it covers inbound calls only: making calls requires the Pack Plus, at €24 annually and €30 monthly. At Skipcall, the Business VoIP licence is €15 per month with no commitment, and €12 on an annual commitment, inbound and outbound calls, with no licence minimum.

How many conversations are included in a Skipcall plan? +

400 per licence per month on the Starter plan, 1,000 on Intermediate, no limit on Expert, and 200 on the Business VoIP plan. Any conversation longer than ten seconds counts. A sales rep prospecting full time usually goes past the Starter quota: Intermediate, or even Expert, is the plan that matches that use.

Can Skipcall replace the CRM built into Kavkom? +

No. Skipcall offers built-in contacts, a pre-CRM layer that is enough to work a call list, and connects natively to HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce and Attio. It is not a full CRM with pipelines and opportunity management. If your project is to replace telephony and CRM in one go, that is not our scope.

Compare on your own calls

One licence is enough to run a list and count your conversations. It is the only comparison that counts.
