Skipcall vs Quicktalk: which one to choose

Both tools give your company a business number, but they are not built for the same direction of call. This page settles one question: which of the two for your team. It compares the dialling modes, a full working day, the cost per conversation and the quotas, with the calculation method shown.

The verdict, in three lines

The criterion that separates them is not the feature list: it is the volume of outbound calls your company has to produce every month. On price, let us say it straight away: Quicktalk is cheaper, per seat and per conversation obtained.

Choose Quicktalk if

Your phone is there to receive calls first, and prospecting stays occasional.

Voice menu, greeting messages, opening hours, routing incoming calls to several people, a voice assistant: this is a complete phone system for a very small organisation, at a very low price per seat. Skipcall does not cover that layer and does not claim to. And as long as the outbound call volume stays modest, the detailed calculation below gives the advantage to Quicktalk, including per conversation obtained.

Choose Skipcall if

You have fewer than a hundred employees and a team that prospects.

One tool for the whole company: parallel dialling on four lines for the people who prospect, and a business number, inbound calls, voicemail, SMS and mobile and web apps for everyone else. No licence minimum, so a single person can be equipped.

If you are still weighing several tools and not only these two, the page on alternatives to Quicktalk compares eight solutions on the market and details the company, the hosting and the reviews of each.

What Quicktalk does better than us

Four areas where the choice is not up for debate. Knowing them before you buy avoids a project that goes off the rails in the third month.

Handling inbound calls

Skipcall receives calls on your numbers, with voicemail and mobile and web apps. What it does not have is the layer above: voice menu, greeting messages, opening hours, routing a call to a group of people. Quicktalk provides all of that in its single plan. If your customers call you more than you call them, that settles it.

The price of an all-inclusive seat

The Quicktalk plan includes a number, unlimited calls to landlines and mobiles in more than thirty countries, the phone system, transcription and the virtual receptionist, for €24 excluding VAT per user per month on monthly billing, or €15 excluding VAT on annual billing. For a tradesperson or a three-person practice that does no prospecting, the ratio between price and scope is hard to fault.

The voice assistant

Quicktalk offers a voice assistant able to take the call in your place. We do not offer a voice agent, and it is not a feature we are behind on: it is a position, explained further down this page. If you want a machine to pick up when nobody is available, Quicktalk does it and we will not.

Integrations aimed at very small businesses

The list published by the vendor includes HubSpot, Zoho, Odoo, Wix, PrestaShop, Magento and Evoliz: the tools of an online shop, a tradesperson or a small practice. Skipcall offers four native ones, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce and Attio, chosen for sales teams, plus a read-only API. These are not the same trades.

What Skipcall does better than Quicktalk

The same exercise the other way round, and verifiable in the same way: four areas where the gap works in our favour. Price is not one of them, as the cost per conversation section says below.

The dialler, quite simply

The feature list Quicktalk publishes on its Pricing page covers numbers, calls, call handling, tracking and integrations. It mentions neither a power dialler nor parallel dialling. At Skipcall, four lines go out together, artificial intelligence filtering removes answering machines before they reach the salesperson, and the power dialler is included. A team that prospects is no longer capped at the pace a hand can keep.

The ceiling on conversations in a day

The same salesperson, in the same working day, gets about 120 conversations a month dialling by hand and 1,120 with parallel dialling. Past that point, the limit of a tool without a dialler is not a budget limit, it is an hours limit: no plan removes it, you would have to hire. This is the only gap that the cost per conversation section, below, does not reverse.

A single price list to read

On 3 September 2026, the banner on the Quicktalk homepage announced €19 excluding VAT per month with three users included, while the Pricing page and the FAQ showed €24 excluding VAT per user per month. On top of that, €5 excluding VAT per additional number. Our four plans sit on a single public page, with their conversation quota: the budget is worked out before you subscribe, not after.

The prospecting scope is included

Outbound call sequences, built-in contacts as a pre-CRM, number enrichment, call transcription, call summary, multi-team workspace and HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce and Attio integrations: all of this sits in the Skipcall plans. None of these points, apart from transcription and HubSpot, appears in the feature list published by Quicktalk. A sales team would buy them again elsewhere.

Two families of tools, and only one that covers both

Most companies that prospect end up with two subscriptions: a telephony tool for everyone, a dialler for the sales team. That is the real hidden cost of this market, and it appears on no price list.

Business telephony

This is the Quicktalk family, in the version cut for very small organisations.

Business number, unlimited calls, voice menu, greeting messages, opening hours, routing incoming calls to several people.

No dialler. A team that prospects is capped at the number of calls it can dial by hand in a day.

Specialised parallel diallers

Tools built for a single job.

Simultaneous dialling of several lines, answering machine detection, callback cadences. Very effective for prospecting.

No telephony layer. The rest of the company, which simply needs a number and the ability to receive calls, has to be equipped elsewhere. So a second subscription.

Skipcall

Both, in the same tool.

Parallel dialling on four lines, at the level of the best specialists, and the telephony layer: business number, inbound calls, voicemail, SMS, mobile and web apps.

Fewer call handling features than a phone system. That is deliberate: no voice menu, no routing to a group of agents.

In practice: at Skipcall, a €15 licence is enough to equip someone who simply needs a business number, an app and the ability to receive calls. The salespeople who prospect take a plan from €75, with parallel dialling. No licence minimum is imposed, which makes it possible to equip a single person. Same tool, same directory, same invoice.

It all comes down to the dialling mode

Manual dialling

The salesperson opens the contact record, reads the number, dials it, waits for the ring, listens to the start of the answering machine if they land on it, hangs up, notes what happened, then starts again. The feature list Quicktalk publishes on its Pricing page covers numbers, calls, call handling, tracking and integrations: it mentions neither a power dialler, nor parallel dialling, nor predictive dialling. A team that prospects is therefore capped at the pace a hand can keep.

Parallel dialling

Four numbers go out at the same time. As soon as someone picks up, the other three lines are released and the salesperson is connected. Artificial intelligence filtering removes answering machines, switchboards and invalid numbers before they reach them. The waiting time between two calls disappears, which changes the number of conversations obtained for the same working time.

The difference is not about voice quality or how rich the software is: it is about the number of attempts possible in an hour of work. That is what the next table puts into figures.

A typical working day, hour by hour

Same salesperson, same list, same working time. Only the dialling mode changes.

Assumptions shown: four working blocks, an answer rate of 7% for manual dialling (the top of the 5 to 7% range we publish) and 8% for parallel dialling. These are the figures published by Skipcall, applied to dialling modes and not to brands. The cadence used for manual dialling is, for its part, an assumption on our side, deliberately high. The detail sits in the “Method and sources” section below.

The cost per conversation, and what it does not say

Comparing two licence prices teaches nothing when the two tools do not dial the same way. So two figures are needed, not one: what a conversation obtained costs, and how many conversations the dialling mode makes it possible to reach in a month. Here is the calculation, based on the typical day above, twenty working days a month and the monthly prices of both vendors. The first figure is in favour of Quicktalk.

Quicktalk

€0.20

per conversation

Licence: €24 excluding VAT per month

Conversations: 120 per month

Minimum: none

Skipcall Expert

€0.25

per conversation

Licence: €280 per month

Conversations: 1,120 per month

Minimum: none

On this criterion, Quicktalk wins: €0.20 per conversation against €0.25 with us. The gap is tighter than between the two licence prices, because parallel dialling produces far more conversations for the same working time, but it does not flip. A €24 excluding VAT seat is still a €24 excluding VAT seat.

What the unit cost does not say is the ceiling. The same salesperson, in the same working day, gets 120 conversations a month dialling by hand and 1,120 with parallel dialling, that is 9.3 times more. If 120 conversations a month are enough to fill your diary, Quicktalk produces them for less and the question is settled. If your sales target calls for three hundred, no Quicktalk plan will produce them, whatever its price: the limit is not a budget limit, it is an hours limit. You would have to hire, and that is no longer the same comparison.

The Skipcall plan used here is the one whose quota actually covers the projected volume: at this pace, the Starter and its 400 conversations would be passed in the second week. The next point explains how to pick the right tier.

This calculation only holds for a seat that prospects. For someone who only needs a business number and to receive calls, the comparison is quite different: the Business VoIP plan is €15 per month, against €24 excluding VAT on the Quicktalk Pricing page, but it is Quicktalk that brings the voice menu and the routing of incoming calls.

Amounts excluding VAT, on monthly billing on both sides.

Two prices shown at the same time

On 3 September 2026, the banner on the Quicktalk homepage announced €19 excluding VAT per month with three users included, while the Pricing page and the FAQ showed €24 excluding VAT per user per month on monthly billing, or €15 excluding VAT on annual billing. The calculations on this page rely on the Pricing page. Ask for written confirmation of the price before you subscribe.

The additional number

An additional number is billed at €5 excluding VAT per month. The point counts if you want a number per department, per city or per campaign: that line has to be added to the budget, it does not appear in the price per user.

Cancellation goes through support

The French terms and conditions published by the vendor provide for a monthly subscription that renews automatically, cancellable by email to support up to the day before the monthly renewal date. Note that date when you subscribe: it sets your exit window.

Number portability is requested thirty days ahead

The French terms and conditions published by the vendor provide that the outbound portability request be sent by your new operator at least thirty calendar days before the end of the subscription period, and that a released number may be reassigned six months after the account is closed. The order of operations is therefore portability first, cancellation second.

Our plans include a conversation quota. Here is the one that suits you

Quicktalk advertises unlimited calls to landlines and mobiles in more than thirty countries. Skipcall shows a conversation quota on three of its four plans. Better to explain it clearly: badly chosen, the plan becomes the real hidden cost.

PlanPriceConversationsWho it suits
Business VoIP€15200Seats that need a business number and a few calls a day, with no prospecting. This is the plan that compares with a Quicktalk seat.
Starter€75400A salesperson who prospects part time, or a team getting started. About 20 conversations per working day.
Intermediate€1501,000A salesperson whose main job is phone prospecting. About 50 conversations per working day.
Expert€280UnlimitedTeams with very high volume, and those who would rather not watch a counter.

Any conversation longer than ten seconds is counted. Calls shorter than ten seconds, answering machines and invalid numbers consume nothing. The list of countries you can call sits on the pricing page. On the Quicktalk side, article 8.1 of the French terms and conditions provides for the unlimited plan to be suspended for seven days in the event of use judged abusive, then terminated automatically if the situation is not corrected: an article to read before signing if your call volume is high.

Our artificial intelligence serves the salesperson, it does not replace them

This is the fundamental difference between Skipcall and part of the market, in both directions: we put more of it in than the tools that have none, and we refuse to put it where others place it.

What our artificial intelligence does

It filters out answering machines, switchboards and invalid numbers before they reach the salesperson. It transcribes the call and produces a summary. In other words, it removes work that has no value and leaves the work that does.

What it does not do

It does not speak in your place. We do not offer a voice agent, and it is not a feature we are behind on: it is a position. To call a prospect or answer a customer, the best person for the image of your company is still a member of your team.

Why the relationship matters

A company that hands its conversations to a machine loses the direct link with its contacts. That link is hard to rebuild, and its weakening does not show on a dashboard for several months.

Why cost matters too

Voice agents are billed by the minute or by the credit consumed. The bill follows the volume, it is hard to forecast, and the real effect on the customer relationship is hard to measure. A fixed-price licence remains a budget you control.

In one sentence

We automate what wastes your salespeople's time, never the conversation itself.

Dialling, setting aside an answering machine, spotting an invalid number, transcribing, summarising: the machine does it better and never tires. Talking to a customer or a prospect, no. That limit is also what makes your budget predictable: a fixed-price licence, and not per-minute billing that follows your volume.

Quicktalk scope recorded on quicktalk.com on 3 September 2026. The words “not mentioned” flag a feature absent from the list published by the vendor, not a position on their part. Plans change: check the pricing page of the vendor before you decide.

Method and sources

A comparison published by one of the two vendors is only worth something if its method can be checked. Here is where every figure on this page comes from, including what it does not prove.

The prices

Skipcall prices are those of the public price list, excluding VAT. Quicktalk prices are those of the vendor Pricing page, also excluding VAT: €24 per user per month on monthly billing, €15 on annual billing, that is €180 a year, and €5 per month for an additional number. The two offers are compared on the same billing cycle, never an annual price against a monthly price.

The feature scope

The Quicktalk column of the criterion by criterion table repeats the feature list published by the vendor on its Pricing page. When a feature is not there, the page writes “not mentioned” rather than “no”: we record an absence from a public list, we do not claim to know the roadmap of the vendor.

The answer rates

The rate of 8% for parallel dialling and the range of 5 to 7% for manual dialling are the figures Skipcall publishes on its product pages. The calculation uses 7%, the top of that range: a higher rate gives more conversations to the competitor, which makes the comparison conservative. These are our own figures, not an independent measurement, and they are not attributed to any vendor by name: they describe dialling modes, not brands.

The typical day

The hourly table is an arithmetic projection based on the call cadences and the rates above, over four working blocks and twenty working days a month. It is not the record of a real day. The cadence used for manual dialling is an assumption on our part, deliberately high. Your figures will depend on your list, your sector and your calling hours.

What we do not compare here

The identity of the vendor, its funding, where the data is hosted and public review scores do not appear on this page. They are covered, with sources, on the Quicktalk alternative page.

Frequently asked questions

Does Quicktalk have a dialler for prospecting?+

No. The full feature list published on the Pricing page covers numbers, calls, call handling, tracking and integrations. It mentions neither a power dialler, nor parallel dialling, nor predictive dialling. Quicktalk is built to receive calls and to dial by hand, not to work through a list of several hundred contacts in a day.

Is Skipcall more expensive than Quicktalk?+

It depends on the seat. For someone who only needs a business number, the Business VoIP plan is €15 per user per month on monthly billing, while the Quicktalk Pricing page shows €24 excluding VAT. For a salesperson who prospects, the Skipcall licence is clearly more expensive, from €75, because it contains a parallel dialler. And the cost per conversation obtained does not reverse that: about €0.20 with Quicktalk against €0.25 with us, over an identical typical day. What parallel dialling changes is the ceiling: about 120 conversations a month dialling by hand, against 1,120 in parallel. The table above on this page sets out the calculation.

Does Skipcall handle inbound calls like Quicktalk?+

Not at the same level. Skipcall receives calls on your numbers, with voicemail and mobile and web apps. It does not offer interactive voice response, a voice menu, a queue, routing to a group of agents or real-time supervision. If your customers call you and they need to be directed, Quicktalk does that work and Skipcall does not.

How many conversations are included in a Skipcall plan?+

400 per licence per month on the Starter plan, 1,000 on the Intermediate, no limit on the Expert, and 200 on the Business VoIP offer. Any conversation longer than ten seconds is counted. A salesperson who prospects full time usually goes past the Starter quota: the Intermediate, or even the Expert, matches that use.

Is there a minimum number of licences?+

With neither one. Quicktalk sets no minimum, and neither does Skipcall, including on the plans that contain the dialler. So you can equip a single person to measure the channel before rolling it out, and that is a point the two offers have in common.

How much does Quicktalk cost exactly?+

The Pricing page shows €24 excluding VAT per user per month on monthly billing with no commitment, or €15 excluding VAT per user per month on annual billing, that is €180 a year. The plan includes a number, unlimited calls to landlines and mobiles in more than thirty countries, the phone system, transcription and the virtual receptionist. An additional number is billed at €5 excluding VAT per month. The homepage also showed an entry point at €19 excluding VAT per month with three users included: both displays coexisted on 3 September 2026.

How do I leave Quicktalk if I switch tools?+

The French terms and conditions published by the vendor provide for cancellation by email to support, up to the day before the monthly renewal date of the subscription, and for an outbound portability request sent by your new operator at least thirty calendar days before the end of the subscription period. A released number may be reassigned six months after the account is closed. So start the portability before you cancel, never after.

Compare on your own calls

One licence is enough to launch a list and count your conversations. It is the only comparison that counts.
