Ringover vs Kavkom
Ringover bills by the seat, Kavkom by the country you call. What the €21 and the €8 really cover, and what you have to add on top to prospect at all in 2026.
We build Skipcall, and we sell to the same teams as Ringover and Kavkom. We therefore have a commercial interest in you choosing neither, and you should read this page knowing that.
That is why Skipcall appears nowhere in the comparison below: not in the table, not in the verdict, not in the questions. Every claim here points to a dated public source, listed at the foot of the page. If something looks wrong, write to us: we will correct it and date the correction.

In short
The essentials in five sentences
- On 8 September 2026, the entry plan at Ringover is listed at €21 per user per month on annual billing, and the Kavkom one at €8 per user per month on an annual commitment.
- Neither of those two entry plans is any use for prospecting: the Ringover Smart plan does not open up the prospecting features, and the Kavkom Pack Basic covers incoming calls only.
- With Ringover, the bill depends on the number of seats: the Business plan at €44 per user per month requires three licences minimum and a twelve-month commitment, which is €132 a month at the floor on annual billing.
- With Kavkom, the bill depends on the countries you call: the unlimited calls in the Pack Plus cover landlines and mobiles in France, the United States, Canada and Israel, and every other destination falls under a Pack Custom priced on request.
- Both vendors host their data in France, Ringover in data centres located on French soil with no transfer outside the European Union, Kavkom on Amazon Web Services infrastructure located in Paris.
Which of the two
Choose Ringover if you want to know your budget before talking to a salesperson and your need goes beyond prospecting: all three plans carry a public price, and the floor for three reps can be worked out. Choose Kavkom if your calls go to France, the United States, Canada or Israel and you accept going through a quote, because those are the destinations where its price is the lower of the two. The dividing line is not the quality of the products, both of which are well rated, but what your cost model can hold before you sign.
The point that decides
One bills seats, the other bills destinations
Twenty-one euros against eight, the gap is visible at first glance. It hides the real subject of this comparison, which is that the two price lists do not measure the same thing.
With Ringover, the variable is the number of people. The three published plans are Smart at €21, Business at €44 and Advanced at €54 per user per month on annual billing. The first to open up the prospecting features is Business, and it comes with two conditions that change the sum: three licences minimum and a twelve-month commitment. A team of three reps therefore starts at €132 a month, and a team of two cannot pay for fewer than three.
With Kavkom, the variable is geography. The Pack Basic at €8 per user per month covers incoming calls only. To make calls you need the Pack Plus, whose unlimited calling stops at landlines and mobiles in France, the United States, Canada and Israel. Add Germany, Spain or Belgium to your prospecting list and you leave the public price list for a Pack Custom priced on request. Two teams of the same size can therefore pay amounts that bear no relation to each other.
The practical consequence is about what you know before you open the discussion. With Ringover you can cost out a floor, namely the number of seats multiplied by a published price, licence minimum included. With Kavkom the only public amount anywhere on the outbound path is that of a plan that cannot make calls, since neither the Pack Plus, nor the Pack Custom, nor the predictive dialing module carries a price on the vendor's site.
One thing the two have in common is missed by comparing entry prices. Neither of the headline prices equips a rep. The €21 at Ringover buys business telephony without the prospecting features, the €8 at Kavkom buys a line that receives without being able to call. In both cases the price that matters is the one on the next plan up, and that is where the two vendors stop being comparable line by line.

Which one for which use
Two situations, two answers
Ringover is the right call if
- you want to cost out your budget before the first sales meeting: all three plans are published
- your need goes beyond prospecting and reaches the switchboard, call routing or the contact centre
- your team has at least three people and accepts a twelve-month commitment
- you are looking for a French vendor established since 2005, rated 4.6 out of 5 on G2 across nearly 500 reviews
Kavkom is the right call if
- your calls go to France, the United States, Canada or Israel, landlines and mobiles alike
- you have to equip staff who take calls without making any: €8 per user per month is the lower price of the two
- how quickly support responds matters more to you than how readable the price list is
- you accept going through a quote to learn your real price
The limits
What each one does not do
Ringover limits
- The Smart plan at €21 per user per month does not open up the prospecting features: a sales team actually starts on Business, at €44.
- The three-licence minimum on Business and Advanced makes a team of one or two people pay for three seats.
- The parallel dialer is an option billed on top, limited to two simultaneous calls, and it is only offered in the United States, Spain and the United Kingdom as of 8 September 2026.
- On Trustpilot, 17% of the 1,079 reviews are one star, and they are about getting into and out of the contract rather than about the calling features.
Kavkom limits
- The Pack Basic at €8 per user per month does not allow a single outgoing call: it is a plan for receiving.
- The price of the Pack Plus, the first plan that allows outgoing calls, is not published on the vendor's site.
- Unlimited calling stops at four destinations: prospecting in Germany, Spain or Belgium tips you into a Pack Custom priced on request.
- On Trustpilot, 9% of the 107 reviews are one star and are about verbal undertakings not kept and account changes with a financial effect.
What neither of them does
- Neither publishes the price of its dialing module: the Ringover parallel dialing option is billed on top with no amount shown, and the Kavkom predictive dialer leads to a quote.
- Neither of the headline entry plans allows you to run an outbound calling campaign: in both cases the price that concerns you is the one on the plan above.
- With neither vendor do the negative reviews concern call quality: they concern the contract, the exit terms at Ringover, the undertakings given verbally at Kavkom. Have whatever you are promised put in writing, whichever of the two you settle on.

Frequently asked questions
Short answers
Which is cheaper, Ringover or Kavkom?
On the headline price, Kavkom, with a Pack Basic at €8 per user per month on an annual commitment against €21 for the Ringover Smart plan, as of 8 September 2026. But neither of those plans lets you prospect: Smart does not open up the prospecting features and the Pack Basic covers incoming calls only. The Ringover prospecting plan is published, Business at €44 per user per month, while the Kavkom one, the Pack Plus, is not. Comparing the prices that matter is therefore impossible without a Kavkom quote.
What does a team of three reps really cost at Ringover?
At least €132 a month on annual billing, that is three licences of the Business plan at €44 per user per month, which is the first plan to open up the prospecting features. That amount excludes the parallel dialing option, which is billed on top. The Business and Advanced plans require three licences minimum and a twelve-month commitment; monthly billing with no commitment exists, at a higher price.
Which one should you choose to prospect elsewhere in Europe?
Kavkom covers unlimited calling to landlines and mobiles in four destinations only, France, the United States, Canada and Israel. Prospecting in Germany, Spain or Belgium falls outside that scope and into a Pack Custom whose price is not public. If your European list goes beyond France, ask for that quote before any decision, because it is what sets your real price. On the Ringover side, the documented geographic restriction is on the parallel dialer, offered in the United States, Spain and the United Kingdom only, and not on the telephony plans themselves.
Which of the two offers multi-line dialing?
Both do, on different terms and with no public price on either side. Ringover offers a parallel dialer as a paid option, limited to two simultaneous calls, available in the United States, Spain and the United Kingdom but not in France as of 8 September 2026. Kavkom offers a predictive dialer whose dedicated page shows no price and does not state how many simultaneous calls it opens. In both cases, have availability for your calling countries and the amount billed confirmed in writing.
Where is the data hosted with Ringover and with Kavkom?
Both host in France. Ringover states on its GDPR page that data is stored in data centres located on French soil, with no transfer outside the European Union. Kavkom states in its privacy policy that personal data is stored on Amazon Web Services infrastructure located in Paris, with part of its technical teams located in Israel: on that last point, ask which teams access production data and from which countries.
What do the public reviews say about each of them?
Ringover scores 4.6 out of 5 on G2 across nearly 500 reviews and 4.0 out of 5 on Trustpilot across 1,079 reviews, 70% of them five stars and 17% one star. Kavkom scores 4.7 out of 5 on Capterra across 70 reviews and 4.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot across 107 reviews, 83% of them five stars and 9% one star. The Kavkom ratings are slightly higher and, above all, consistent across the two platforms, but they rest on review volumes ten times smaller, which makes them less robust statistically.
Can you move from Ringover to Kavkom, or from Kavkom to Ringover?
The question to settle is contractual before it is technical. The Ringover Business and Advanced plans are sold with a twelve-month commitment and a three-licence minimum, and the Kavkom headline price assumes an annual commitment. Before preparing a migration, have the anniversary date of the current contract, the notice period and the required form of the cancellation request confirmed in writing. At Ringover, the negative reviews concentrate on precisely that moment of the contract.
Which of the two publishes more pricing information?
Ringover, by a distance. It publishes three priced plans as of 8 September 2026, Smart at €21, Business at €44 and Advanced at €54 per user per month on annual billing, along with its licence minimum and commitment terms. Kavkom publishes a single amount, the €8 of the Pack Basic, while the Pack Plus, the Pack Custom and the predictive dialer all lead to a quote. That gap in pricing transparency says nothing about the quality of the two products, but it changes what you can compare without going through a salesperson.
