The short version

  • Kavkom is published by KAVKOM FRANCE, a company registered in Paris on 13 December 2018 under number 845 151 067.
  • The vendor scores 4.7 out of 5 on Capterra and on Trustpilot alike, a high and consistent rating, with 9% one-star reviews on Trustpilot nonetheless.

  • The Plus pack's unlimited calls cover landlines and mobiles in France, the United States, Canada and Israel. The rest of the world falls under the Custom pack, on request.
  • Personal data is stored on Amazon Web Services infrastructure located in Paris, with part of the technical team based in Israel.

Our bias, stated up front

We make Skipcall, and we sell to the same teams as Kavkom. We therefore have a direct financial interest in you not choosing them.

You should read this page knowing that. It is also why it is built the way it is: every claim points to a dated public document you can open yourself. The sources are listed at the foot of the page. Nothing here rests on our word alone.

An entire section below is devoted to what Kavkom does better than us, and we had no interest in writing it. If anything here looks wrong to you, write to us: we will correct it and date the correction.

The entry plan does not let you make calls

Eight euros per user per month is one of the lowest prices on this market. You should know what it covers: receiving calls, and nothing else.

Basic pack

€8

inbound calls only

To make calls

Plus pack

the higher plan is mandatory

This is not small print: it is the nature of the plan. A rep who prospects can do nothing with a Basic pack, since their job is precisely to make calls.

The second point concerns the Plus pack's unlimited calling. It covers landlines and mobiles in France, the United States, Canada and Israel. Those four destinations form a coherent set given the vendor's footprint, but if you prospect in Germany, Spain or Belgium you fall outside the plan and into a Custom pack whose price is not public.

In other words, your invoice depends less on your headcount than on the geography of your prospects. That is an unusual model on this market, and it is decisive for a European team.

What to do about it

List the countries you actually call, with the share of mobiles in each, before you even look at the price. If it all fits inside the four covered destinations, Kavkom is very competitive. If a single important European country falls outside, ask for the Custom pack quote before going further: that is your real price.

What the reviews of Kavkom are worth

Kavkom scores 4.7 out of 5 on two different platforms, which is both high and rare: most vendors in this section show a marked gap between their ratings.

Capterra

4.7 / 5

70 reviews

Reviews highlight call quality, functional range and the responsiveness of customer service. The product is listed in the predictive dialer category, matching its contact centre positioning.

Trustpilot

4.7 / 5

107 reviews

The responsiveness of advisers and the professionalism of technical support recur constantly. The minority of negative reviews concern verbal commitments not kept and account changes with financial effect.

Rating distribution

5 ★ 83 %
4 ★ 4 %
3 ★ 1 %
2 ★ 3 %
1 ★ 9 %

Consistency between Capterra and Trustpilot is a good signal: it means the product experience and the customer experience do not diverge, which is not the case for Aircall, Kixie or 3CX.

The volumes remain modest, 70 and 107 reviews, against the thousands at large American vendors. The rating is therefore less statistically robust, even if it is consistent.

The reason behind the 9% of negative reviews deserves attention because it is specific: verbal commitments not kept, and account changes with financial effect. That is exactly the kind of grievance you avoid by having what was promised orally put in writing.

What Kavkom does well

Four points we would rather not write, and which are true.

Two ratings at 4.7, with no gap between them

Capterra and Trustpilot give the same figure. That consistency is rare on this market, where the gap between product rating and relationship rating often reaches a point and a half. At Kavkom, what users say and what customers say line up.

Hosting in Paris

Personal data is stored on Amazon Web Services infrastructure located in Paris. On that criterion Kavkom meets the usual requirements of French compliance files, as we do.

Support responsiveness is the most cited point

Across both review corpora, the responsiveness of advisers and the professionalism of technical support recur constantly. In a market where support is the leading grievance, that is a concrete advantage.

An entry price nobody approaches

Eight euros per user per month, even limited to inbound calls, remains the lowest rate in this section. For equipping colleagues who only receive calls, it is unbeatable.

The five questions to put to them in writing

Copy these straight into an email. In writing, not on a call: a written answer is binding, a spoken one leaves no trace.

01

The plan that actually allows prospecting

“We need to make outbound calls for [N] reps. Which plan is required, and what is its rate excluding tax per user per month on annual commitment?”
02

Covered destinations

“We call [list of countries], with a significant share of mobiles. Are those destinations included in the Plus pack's unlimited calling, or do they fall under the Custom pack? In that case, what is the quote?”
03

The predictive dialer

“Your predictive dialer page shows no price. What does it cost, is it billed per user, and how many simultaneous calls does it open?”
04

Commitments made verbally

“Please confirm in writing all the terms discussed during our conversation: rate, included destinations, commitment term and conditions for changing the account.”
05

Where technical teams are located

“Your data is hosted in Paris and part of your technical team is in Israel. Which teams have access to production data, and from which countries? Please send me the data processing agreement.”

Who it is the right choice for, and who it is not

Kavkom is a good choice if

  • you prospect in France, the United States, Canada or Israel
  • you need to equip colleagues who only receive calls
  • support responsiveness is a first-rank criterion for you
  • hosting data in Paris meets your requirements

Look elsewhere if

  • you prospect elsewhere in Europe: those destinations are not covered
  • you want a public price for the predictive dialer
  • you are comparing rates and want to avoid a bespoke quote
  • the €8 entry plan made you think of it as a prospecting price

Frequently asked questions

How much does Kavkom cost in 2026? +

The Basic pack is advertised at €8 per user per month on annual commitment, but it covers inbound calls only: it does not allow outbound calling. To prospect you need the Plus pack, whose unlimited calls cover landlines and mobiles in France, the United States, Canada and Israel. Other destinations fall under the Custom pack, on request, as does the predictive dialing module.

Does Kavkom’s entry plan allow prospecting? +

No. The Basic pack at €8 per user per month is limited to receiving calls. A rep who prospects can do nothing with it, since their activity consists of making calls. The first plan allowing outbound calls is the Plus pack.

Which countries do Kavkom’s unlimited calls cover? +

Landlines and mobiles in France, the United States, Canada and Israel. Any other destination, including France's neighbours, falls outside the plan and under the Custom pack on request. If you prospect in Germany, Spain or Belgium, ask for that quote before any decision: it is your real price.

What are the reviews of Kavkom worth? +

Kavkom scores 4.7 out of 5 on Capterra across 70 reviews and 4.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot across 107 reviews, a rare consistency on this market. Call quality and support responsiveness are the most cited points. The 9% of one-star reviews concern verbal commitments not kept and account changes with financial effect: have what is promised orally put in writing.

Where is Kavkom customer data hosted? +

Personal data is stored on Amazon Web Services infrastructure located in Paris, according to the vendor's privacy policy. Part of the technical team is based in Israel: ask which teams access production data and from which countries.

Who publishes Kavkom? +

Kavkom is published by KAVKOM FRANCE, a company registered in Paris on 13 December 2018 under number 845 151 067.

Can this review be trusted, published by a competitor? +

We make Skipcall and we meet Kavkom in tenders. You should read this page knowing that. Which is why we write that the consistency of its two 4.7 ratings is rare and to its credit, that its Paris hosting matches ours, and that its entry price remains the lowest in this section.

And where do we fit in

This page judges Kavkom; it does not sell Skipcall. If you are at the comparison stage rather than the evaluation stage, the comparative analysis lives elsewhere and is written for that.
