Elto vs Nooks
Elto publishes its price and has 24 reviews, Nooks has more than 1,500 and publishes no price. What that inverted transparency changes about your purchase.
We build Skipcall, and we sell to the same teams as Elto and Nooks. We therefore have a commercial interest in you choosing neither, and you should read this page knowing that.
That is why Skipcall appears nowhere in the comparison below: not in the table, not in the verdict, not in the questions. Every claim here points to a dated public source, listed at the foot of the page. If something looks wrong, write to us: we will correct it and date the correction.

In short
The essentials in five sentences
- Elto is an American parallel dialer published by Monoid, Inc. Its public price, checked on 8 September 2026, is $179 per licence per month, with up to ten American or British outbound numbers included and one dollar a month for each extra number.
- Nooks is an American company founded in late 2020 in San Francisco, which has raised $70 million including $43 million in a Series B led by Kleiner Perkins in October 2024. It publishes no price: the only public cost reference is the median contract value of $30,105 a year recorded across 57 purchases by the Vendr marketplace.
- Elto scores 4.9 out of 5 on G2 in September 2026, the best rating in the category, but across 24 reviews only, and it has no public profile on either Trustpilot or Capterra. Nooks scores 4.8 out of 5 across more than 1,500 G2 reviews, and 4.5 out of 5 across two Capterra reviews.
- The two products do not cover the same ground: Elto presents itself as a parallel dialer of up to six lines, Nooks as a four-module platform, with a virtual sales floor and sequences covering calls, email, SMS and social networks.
- Neither Elto nor Nooks publishes where its servers are. The Elto terms of service place the product under the law of the State of California, and Nooks is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which in itself establishes that European data is processed in the United States.
Which of the two
If you have to cost out a budget before opening any discussion, and your need stops at the dialer, Elto is the only one of the two that lets you decide on your own: $179 per licence per month, published, ten outbound numbers included. If you are equipping a large English-speaking team, you want a full workstation rather than a dialer, and a buying cycle with a quote does not bother you, Nooks brings the product depth and the review volume that Elto does not have. The question is therefore not which one is better, but which of the two unknowns you can carry: the price with Nooks, or the lack of user feedback with Elto.
The point that decides
Two transparencies the wrong way round
Elto publishes everything about its price and almost nothing about its customers. Nooks publishes the opposite. Set side by side, the two blind spots do not cancel out: they ask you to take it on trust on two different fronts.
Elto lists a single price of $179 per licence per month, with no tiers and no options to add. That is rare in this market, and it lets you build a budget in a minute. On the other side there is only one measurement of how its customers feel: 24 reviews on G2, no public profile on Trustpilot or Capterra. You know exactly what you are going to pay, and almost nothing about what customers make of it once they are up and running.
Nooks offers precisely the reverse. More than 1,500 reviews on G2 for a rating of 4.8 out of 5, with the highest adoption and easiest implementation badges: no European dialer has a body of feedback like it. But the pricing page carries no amount, no tier and no licence minimum. You know what users think, and you cannot know what it will cost you without going through a sales meeting.
One order of magnitude puts the gap in perspective, as long as it is read correctly. At $179 per licence per month, one Elto licence comes to $2,148 a year. The median contract value Vendr recorded for Nooks, $30,105 a year, is therefore the equivalent of a little more than fourteen Elto licences over a year. It is not a price per user: the Vendr median covers contracts whose seat count is not published. It places an order of magnitude on the annual commitment, nothing more.
The gap is not only about price, though, it is also about scope, and that is what makes comparing the amounts misleading. Elto sells a parallel dialer of up to six lines, with detection of voicemail, phone menus and human pick-ups, and up to ten American or British outbound numbers. Nooks sells four modules, a virtual sales floor and multichannel sequences. If your organisation needs the sequencing and the coaching Nooks builds in, choosing Elto means buying them elsewhere, and the budget to compare is no longer $179 but $179 plus the subscriptions you stack on top.
The practical conclusion fits in one sentence: compare Elto and Nooks on the scope you will actually use, not on the price one publishes and the other does not. A standalone dialer that costs less than a platform is only a saving if you did not need the platform.

Which one for which use
Two situations, two answers
Elto is the right call if
- you have to build a budget without going through a sales meeting: $179 per licence per month is the only figure you need
- your need stops at the dialer and you already have your sequencing and CRM tools
- you prospect in the United States or the United Kingdom, the markets covered by the ten outbound numbers included
- the number of simultaneous lines matters to you: Elto announces six, where Nooks does not publish the figure
- you are happy to work with a young vendor, and to get from it the close hand-holding its reviews describe
Nooks is the right call if
- your buying process demands plenty of references: more than 1,500 G2 reviews for 4.8 out of 5 is the fullest body of feedback in the category
- you are looking for a complete workstation rather than a standalone dialer, with multichannel sequences and coaching
- your prospecting team is large, English-speaking and works the North American market
- an annual budget of several tens of thousands of dollars is within your range and a buying cycle with a quote poses no difficulty
- the vendor staying the course weighs on your decision: $70 million raised, including $43 million led by Kleiner Perkins in October 2024
The limits
What each one does not do
Elto limits
- The 4.9 out of 5 rating rests on 24 reviews, on a single platform. At that volume the first customers, usually the most closely supported, weigh disproportionately on the average, and no cross-check is possible for want of a Trustpilot or Capterra profile.
- The ten outbound numbers included are American or British. No catalogue of French or European numbers is announced publicly: that is the first point to have confirmed in writing if you are calling from Europe.
- The terms of service place the product under the law of the State of California and name Santa Clara County as the competent jurisdiction. The privacy policy states no hosting location and specifies that the list of sub-processors is supplied on request.
- The scope stops at the dialer: neither multichannel sequences, nor a virtual sales floor, nor live coaching appear in the published offer. The matching functions then have to be paid for as separate subscriptions.
- The same publisher launched a voice agent platform, since renamed Vogent, whose acquisition Aircall announced on 6 May 2026. The Elto dialer is still sold under its own brand, but the question of its twelve-month roadmap arises and deserves an answer in writing.
Nooks limits
- No price is published: no amount, no tier, no licence minimum. Any budget comparison beforehand is therefore impossible, and the decision cycle is automatically lengthened by at least one sales meeting.
- The number of lines dialed in parallel is not published. Yet it is the figure that directly governs the volume of conversations: it has to be pinned down, along with whether it can be adjusted, before any decision.
- Neither the hosting region nor the cloud provider is published. Certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework in itself establishes a transfer of European data to the United States.
- The body of reviews is almost entirely American and English-speaking: more than 1,500 reviews on G2, two on Capterra. It says nothing about the coverage of European numbers or about how quickly support answers from a European time zone.
- The interface, the documentation and the support are in English, and Capterra reviews report synchronisation lags with the CRM when the tool is plugged into a third-party sequencing platform. That is the point to test field by field during the trial.
What neither of them does
- Neither publishes where its servers are. If your legal department requires hosting in Europe, neither Elto nor Nooks will give you that answer without a written request.
- Neither announces French or European numbers publicly. Elto includes American and British numbers, Nooks publishes no number catalogue at all.
- Neither bills in euros: both offers are denominated in US dollars, which passes the currency risk on to you.
- Neither offers a voice agent that talks in place of the rep. In both cases the AI is there to filter out voicemail and to back up a human who holds the conversation.
- Neither has meaningful public feedback from outside the North American market: Elto has no profile on Trustpilot or Capterra, and Nooks has only two reviews on Capterra.

Frequently asked questions
Short answers
Elto or Nooks: which is cheaper?
The question cannot be settled on the amount, because the two vendors do not publish the same thing. On 8 September 2026, Elto lists $179 per licence per month, which is $2,148 per licence per year. Nooks publishes no price: the only public reference is the median contract value of $30,105 a year recorded by the Vendr marketplace across 57 real purchases, an annual contract figure covering a seat count that is not published. Elto is therefore the only one of the two a buyer can budget for without talking to a salesperson, but its scope is that of a dialer, where the Nooks scope covers four modules.
Elto or Nooks: which has the better reviews?
Elto has the higher rating, 4.9 out of 5 on G2 in September 2026, but across 24 reviews only and with no public profile on Trustpilot or Capterra. Nooks has 4.8 out of 5 across more than 1,500 G2 reviews, with the highest adoption and easiest implementation badges, and 4.5 out of 5 across two Capterra reviews. A tenth of a point between samples of 24 and of more than 1,500 reviews is not a comparison: the Nooks rating is statistically solid, the Elto one is testimony from early customers.
Which of the two should you choose to prospect in France?
Neither documents that case publicly. The ten outbound numbers included in the Elto price are American or British, and Nooks publishes no number catalogue. Neither publishes where its servers are, and Nooks is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which establishes processing in the United States. If you are calling French prospects, insist in writing, from both, on the availability of local numbers, their price, the country where recordings are hosted and the data processing agreement before any decision.
How many lines do Elto and Nooks dial in parallel?
Elto announces up to six numbers dialed at once, with detection of voicemail, phone menus and human pick-ups. Nooks does not publish the figure: its product page mentions dialing several numbers at a time without putting a number on it. Have that ceiling pinned down in the quote, along with whether it can be adjusted, because it directly governs the number of conversations per hour.
Can you start with a single licence with Elto or with Nooks?
Neither Elto nor Nooks publishes a licence minimum as of 8 September 2026. With Elto, the fact that there is a single per-licence price at least lets you cost out a small start, and a seven-day trial is offered. With Nooks, the absence of both a public price and a published floor means the minimum seat count is negotiated in the quote: that is one of the points to have pinned down in writing from the first conversation.
Can you move from Elto to Nooks, or the other way round?
Neither vendor publishes a migration procedure. The three points to work through before switching are the same in either direction: exporting the history, meaning the recordings, the transcripts and the call logs, requested while the account is still active and in a format you have checked; taking the outbound numbers with you, bearing in mind that the Elto ones are American or British; and mapping field by field to your CRM, Elto announcing integrations with Apollo, Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach and Salesloft.
Was Elto acquired by Aircall?
No, not the dialer. On 6 May 2026 Aircall announced the acquisition of Vogent, the voice agent platform launched by the same publisher under the name Elto AI. The Elto parallel dialer is still sold under its own brand and on its own site. The useful question to put to the vendor is the twelve-month roadmap for the dialer and who is steering it.
Where is the data hosted with Elto and with Nooks?
Neither publishes where its servers are. The Elto privacy policy states no hosting location and specifies that the list of sub-processors is supplied on request, while its terms of service place the product under the law of the State of California. The Nooks trust centre reports SOC 2 Type 2 certification, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification and certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, the last of which establishes a transfer of European data to the United States, without naming either the cloud provider or the regions.
