The short version

  • Nooks is an American company founded in late 2020 in San Francisco, which has raised $70 million, including $43 million in a Series B led by Kleiner Perkins in October 2024.
  • No pricing is published. The Vendr marketplace, which aggregates real software purchases, records a median contract value of $30,105 a year across 57 observed purchases.
  • Its G2 rating is 4.8 out of 5 across more than 1,500 reviews, one of the best in the category. That is a real result, not a display.
  • On Capterra, by contrast, the listing has only two reviews: public feedback is almost entirely American and English-speaking.
  • Server locations are not published. Membership of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework confirms that European data is processed in the United States.

Our bias, stated up front

We make Skipcall, and we sell to the same teams as Nooks. We therefore have a direct financial interest in you not choosing them.

You should read this page knowing that. It is also why it is built the way it is: every claim points to a dated public document you can open yourself. The sources are listed at the foot of the page. Nothing here rests on our word alone.

An entire section below is devoted to what Nooks does better than us, and we had no interest in writing it. If anything here looks wrong to you, write to us: we will correct it and date the correction.

The price they do not publish, and that others do

Nooks points you to a quote. That is its right, and it is the norm among American vendors targeting large accounts. But no advertised price does not mean no known price.

Median contract recorded

$30,105

a year, across 57 purchases observed by Vendr

On the pricing page

None

no figure published by the vendor

Vendr is a software buying marketplace that aggregates contracts its clients actually sign. The figure it publishes is neither an estimate nor a list price: it is the median of what companies actually paid.

Per month that works out at roughly $2,509, or around €2,300. It is an order of magnitude, not a quote: your figure will depend on licence count, term and negotiating position. But it is a basis for discussion you did not have.

The practical value is immediate. A sales rep quoting a budget far above that median should be able to explain what in your configuration justifies the gap. A rep who refuses to place their offer against a public order of magnitude is telling you something about how the negotiation will go.

What to do about it

Enter the conversation with that figure in mind, and ask for an annual range before any demonstration. A sales cycle that runs three meetings before touching price consumes your time without reducing your uncertainty. If the order of magnitude is out of budget, better to know at the first call.

What the reviews of Nooks are worth

Nooks has one of the best ratings on the market, and a review corpus that says almost nothing about Europe. Both facts matter.

G2

4.8 / 5

over 1,500 reviews

One of the best ratings in the dialer category. Nooks is listed as a leader on its grid, with badges for best adoption and easiest implementation. The volume is that of an established player.

Capterra

4.5 / 5

2 reviews

Two reviews only. That is not a bad signal in itself, it is a signal of absence: public feedback on Nooks is almost entirely concentrated on one American platform, in one language.

4.8 across more than 1,500 reviews is a result no European vendor in this category currently reaches. It should be said without qualification: Nooks users are happy with Nooks.

The useful question is therefore not product quality, it is transferability. Those 1,500 reviews come from American sales teams working lists of tens of thousands of records, with calling practices and a regulatory framework different from ours.

What you will not find in that corpus: feedback on European number coverage, on GDPR compliance in a French context, or on support responsiveness from a European time zone. Those are precisely the three points to have verified before signing.

What Nooks does well

Four points we would rather not write, and which are true.

4.8 on G2, across more than 1,500 reviews

It is the best rating in the category, on a volume that rules out chance. We have no equivalent to set against it, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. If your criterion is measured user satisfaction, Nooks is ahead.

Rare product depth

Four AI modules, a virtual sales floor, multichannel sequencing: the scope goes well beyond a dialer. For a team of twenty reps wanting a complete workstation, the offer is coherent.

A solid funding file

$70 million raised, including $43 million led by Kleiner Perkins. For a procurement team assessing supplier durability, that is a real argument, and it plays against smaller vendors, ourselves included.

The G2 badges are not bought

The best adoption and easiest implementation awards are calculated by G2 from user responses, not granted by the vendor. They say something real about ease of deployment.

The five questions to put to them in writing

Copy these straight into an email. In writing, not on a call: a written answer is binding, a spoken one leaves no trace.

01

The order of magnitude, before the demo

“Before we commit to a demonstration cycle, can you give me an annual range excluding tax for a team of [N] reps, and the minimum number of licences you accept?”
02

European number coverage

“Can you confirm the availability and quality of your numbers for calls placed from France to [countries], including local caller ID, and name two European customers of comparable size?”
03

Hosting location

“In which region are call recordings and transcripts hosted for a French customer? Please send me the data processing agreement required by article 28 of the GDPR and the named list of sub-processors.”
04

Support in a European time zone

“What are your support hours in Paris time, and what is your contractual response time on a blocking incident?”
05

Commitment and exit

“What is the minimum contract term, the renewal clause, and under what conditions can I reduce licence counts during the commitment?”

Who it is the right choice for, and who it is not

Nooks is a good choice if

  • your sales team is large and works American lists
  • you want a complete workstation rather than a dialer alone
  • an annual budget in the tens of thousands of dollars is within your range
  • measured user satisfaction is your first criterion

Look elsewhere if

  • you need a price before committing to a sales cycle
  • your data must stay in Europe with no transfer to the United States
  • your team has fewer than ten reps
  • you want European customer feedback before signing

Frequently asked questions

How much does Nooks cost in 2026? +

Nooks publishes no pricing: its price page leads to a quote request, with no figure, no tier and no advertised licence minimum. The only public order of magnitude comes from the software buying marketplace Vendr, which records a median contract value of $30,105 a year across 57 real observed purchases, or roughly $2,509 a month. That figure is not an official rate, but it is a verifiable negotiating basis.

What are the reviews of Nooks worth? +

Its G2 rating is 4.8 out of 5 across more than 1,500 reviews, one of the best in the whole dialer category, with badges for best adoption and easiest implementation. On Capterra, by contrast, the listing has only two reviews. The public corpus is therefore almost entirely American and English-speaking: it says nothing about European number coverage or support from a European time zone.

Where is Nooks customer data hosted? +

The vendor publishes neither the hosting region nor the name of its cloud provider. Its trust centre confirms membership of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, meaning European data is processed in the United States. For a French compliance file, request the data processing agreement and the named list of sub-processors.

How many lines does Nooks dial in parallel? +

The product is built around several AI modules and offers parallel dialing with voicemail filtering. The vendor does not publish a line cap in the commercial documentation accessible without an account: get that number, and whether it is configurable, confirmed during the demonstration.

Who publishes Nooks? +

Nooks is an American company founded in late 2020 and based in San Francisco. It has raised $70 million in total, including $43 million in a Series B led by Kleiner Perkins, announced on 24 October 2024.

Can this review be trusted, published by a competitor? +

We make Skipcall and we sell to the same teams as Nooks. You should read this page knowing that. Which is why we state plainly that Nooks's G2 rating beats anything we can set against it, and why every figure points to a dated public source. If anything looks wrong, write to us: we will correct it and date the correction.

And where do we fit in

This page judges Nooks; it does not sell Skipcall. If you are at the comparison stage rather than the evaluation stage, the comparative analysis lives elsewhere and is written for that.
