Branded caller ID shows your verified business name, and often your logo and the reason for your call, on a prospect’s phone before they decide to answer. In the US, four specialist providers dominate it: Hiya, First Orion, TNS and Numeracle. Two of them publish prices; the other two quote on request.

This guide compares them on what actually decides the purchase: which networks display your brand, how verification works, what it costs at your volume, and what branding cannot do. If you first need to understand the difference between a plain caller name and a branded call, start with our explainer on CNAM and caller name display.

How does branded caller ID work?

All providers follow roughly the same four steps:

  1. Verification (KYC). You prove who you are: business registration, right to use the brand name and logo, sometimes ownership of each number.
  2. Number registration. You declare the numbers that will carry the brand. Most providers include number registration, which also feeds the analytics engines that decide spam labels.
  3. Display setup. Name, logo, call reason, sometimes a different profile per team or per number.
  4. Delivery. The brand reaches the phone in one of two ways:
    • Through the analytics partner of the recipient’s carrier. Hiya, First Orion and TNS each power spam protection for part of the US market, and they display brands on the networks they serve.
    • Through Rich Call Data (RCD), an extension of STIR/SHAKEN that carries the caller’s identity with the signed call. CTIA’s Branded Calling ID (BCID) framework standardizes this route; Numeracle and others use it.

The consequence is simple: what your prospect sees depends on their carrier, their phone and sometimes their app. That is why coverage matters more than features when you compare providers.

Hiya Connect Branded Call

Hiya powers the Smart Call spam filter on Samsung phones and is the most international of the four. Its Branded Call page lists display partners in the US (Verizon, T-Mobile), Canada (Rogers, Bell), the UK (EE/BT, Virgin Media O2, Vodafone UK), France (Bouygues Telecom), Germany (O2 Telefónica, Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone) and Spain (MasOrange), plus unlocked Samsung devices worldwide.

Published US plans (November 5, 2026):

PlanPriceBranded calls included
Pay as you go$0.14 per branded callNo minimum
Tier 750$99/month750
Tier 2,500$299/month2,500
Tier 5,000$550/month5,000
Tier 10,000$835/month10,000

Every plan includes unlimited numbers and team members, call analytics and number registration. Hiya’s page does not state the overage rate on monthly plans; ask before you commit. Hiya also notes that “not every outbound call will be branded”, which is true of every provider.

Best for: teams that call several countries, or that want a self-serve start with a credit card. Watch out for: AT&T is not in Hiya’s own list of US display networks.

First Orion INFORM

First Orion sells INFORM, its branded calling product, with the most transparent price list of the group.

Published plans (November 5, 2026): 250 calls for $31/month, 500 for $52, 2,500 for $240, 5,000 for $450, 10,000 for $735 and 15,000 for $1,115. No setup fees. Plans under 20,000 calls a month are billed monthly and can be changed or cancelled at any time. Above 20,000 calls, pricing starts at $1,200 a month for the first 20,000 calls with per-call tiers from $0.06 down to $0.035, on an annual agreement; enterprise volumes above 500,000 calls are quoted.

First Orion’s page states that INFORM branded calls “display on all major networks”. It does not publish a per-carrier list, so ask for one.

Best for: small and mid-sized teams that want a low entry price and monthly flexibility. Watch out for: entry plans limit the number of display names and phones; check that your rep count fits.

TNS Enterprise Branded Calling

TNS sells Enterprise Branded Calling to businesses and through channel partners. In March 2025 TNS said its branding reached Verizon directly and AT&T and T-Mobile through its partnership with TransUnion and First Orion, with UScellular added as a partner. TNS also reported delivering more than 1 billion branded calls over the previous year and branding over 1.8 million telephone numbers.

Price: not published; quote on request.

Best for: larger organizations, regulated industries and contact centers that want one vendor for analytics, branding and spoofing protection. Watch out for: no self-serve option; expect a sales cycle.

Numeracle

Numeracle positions itself as an identity company first: Entity Identity Management, KYC as a Service, remediation of improper blocking and labeling, with branded calling on top. Its sVIP product delivers an authenticated caller name, logo and call reason through STIR/SHAKEN Rich Call Data using CTIA’s BCID. Numeracle names Verizon (including US Cellular), T-Mobile (including Boost Mobile) and AT&T, on iOS and Android, with display that “can vary by carrier, device, and OS version”.

Numeracle is also refreshingly direct about one limit: branded caller ID does not override spam or scam labels. It reports vendor results of a 15% boost in answer rates and 36% more goal completion; treat those as marketing figures, not benchmarks.

Price: custom quote, depending on the number of brands, numbers and networks.

Best for: teams that need remediation and verified identity as much as a logo. Watch out for: no published price, so budget planning starts with a call.

Other routes: CPaaS platforms and Truecaller

Communications platforms. If your calls run through a programmable voice provider, branding may be available as an add-on. Telnyx publishes its rates: $50 per brand one-time, $50 per brand per month and $0.075 per branded call display. Twilio announced on October 5, 2026 that its branded calling reaches T-Mobile and Verizon, with AT&T in pilot. These options only apply to calls placed through those platforms.

Truecaller for Business. Truecaller’s Verified Business Caller ID shows your name, logo and a green verified badge, but only to people using the Truecaller app. Truecaller launched the offer in Europe on October 15, 2025 and does not publish prices. It matters more for international markets where Truecaller is widely installed than for US mobile networks.

What will 5,000 branded calls a month cost?

A team of five SDRs placing about 50 calls a day each makes roughly 5,000 calls a month. At published rates:

Whether $450 to $700 a month pays off depends on what one extra conversation is worth to you. Our cost per meeting calculator gives you that number in a minute.

How to choose a branded caller ID provider

Ask every vendor the same five questions, in writing:

  1. Which carriers and devices display my brand today? Ask for the list, not a market share figure.
  2. What exactly displays? Name only, or name, logo and call reason, and on which phones.
  3. How long does verification take, and what documents do you need?
  4. What happens above my plan’s volume? Overage rate, or calls simply left unbranded.
  5. Can I attach different names to different numbers? Useful if several teams or brands call from your account.

Then run a two-week test on part of your numbers and compare connect rates against an unbranded control group. Our connect rate benchmarks tell you what “good” looks like.

When branded caller ID is not the right buy

  • Low volume. Below a few hundred calls a month, a stable number, a good voicemail and a follow-up SMS do more for less.
  • Mostly AT&T or non-covered prospects. If your provider cannot brand on the networks your buyers use, you pay for little display.
  • A list problem. If your connect rate is low because numbers are wrong or the list is exhausted, branding the calls will not fix it.
  • Calls outside the US. Coverage drops quickly; in France, for instance, network-level display only exists with Bouygues Telecom since 2026.

Where Skipcall fits

Skipcall does not sell branded caller ID. Skipcall is a calling platform for outbound B2B teams: power dialer, parallel dialer on up to 4 lines, local numbers in 14 countries including the US and Canada, pre-recorded voicemail drop and SMS from the same number. Those last two are how prospects learn your name when your number alone appears. If you subscribe to a branded caller ID provider, you can register the numbers you use with them, subject to that provider’s terms. To keep each number under the volume that triggers spam labels, size your pool with the phone number rotation calculator.

What to remember

  • Four specialists: Hiya, First Orion, TNS, Numeracle. Platforms such as Telnyx and Twilio offer branding to their own customers; Truecaller brands calls inside its app.
  • Coverage decides everything. Get a per-carrier list; none of them brands every call.
  • Published prices: First Orion from $31/month for 250 calls; Hiya from $99/month for 750 calls or $0.14 per call; Telnyx $0.075 per call plus $50 per brand per month. TNS and Numeracle quote.
  • 5,000 branded calls a month: roughly $425 to $700 at published rates.
  • Branding does not remove spam labels. Clean, registered numbers come first.
  • Test against a control group before rolling branding out to the whole team.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Branded caller ID displays a business's verified name, and often its logo and the reason for the call, on the recipient's phone before they answer. The business is verified by a provider, registers its numbers, and the display is delivered through carrier partnerships or STIR/SHAKEN Rich Call Data. It only shows on networks and devices that support it.
Hiya (Hiya Connect Branded Call), First Orion (INFORM), TNS (Enterprise Branded Calling) and Numeracle (Smart Branding and sVIP). Communications platforms such as Twilio and Telnyx also sell branded calling to their own customers, and Truecaller for Business brands calls to users of the Truecaller app.
Published US prices on November 5, 2026: First Orion INFORM from $31 a month for 250 branded calls with no setup fee; Hiya from $99 a month for 750 branded calls, or $0.14 per call pay as you go; Telnyx $50 per brand one-time, $50 per brand per month and $0.075 per branded call. TNS and Numeracle quote on request.
No. Each provider covers the networks and devices it has agreements with. Hiya lists Verizon and T-Mobile in the US plus unlocked Samsung devices worldwide; TNS reaches Verizon directly and AT&T and T-Mobile through partners; Twilio described AT&T as still in pilot in October 2026. Expect a share of your calls to show only your number.
No. Numeracle states that branded caller ID does not override spam or scam labels. A number already flagged needs remediation (rest, lower volume, registration through the Free Caller Registry) before branding can help.
It depends on volume and on how much your brand name helps. At published prices, 5,000 branded calls a month cost roughly $425 to $700. If that brings a few extra conversations with decision makers, it usually pays for itself; if your connect rate is low because of list quality or flagged numbers, fix that first.
No. Skipcall does not sell branded caller ID. It provides local numbers in 14 countries, voicemail drop and SMS from the same number. You can register the numbers you use with a branded caller ID provider, subject to that provider's terms.
