Reviews and pricing

Aircall: reviews, pricing and full price list (2026)

The price Aircall advertises is never the price you pay: the three-licence minimum triples the entry ticket. Full price list, the gap between its G2 and Trustpilot ratings, and where recordings are hosted.

The short version

  • Aircall is a French company founded in 2014 in Paris, valued at over a billion dollars since 2021 and claiming more than 23,000 customers. It is one of the most established players on this market.
  • The advertised price is $30 per licence per month, but the three-licence minimum brings the real entry ticket to $90 a month. That minimum does not appear next to the price.
  • Aircall offers no parallel dialer on any plan. Its power dialer calls one number at a time and only appears from the Professional plan onwards.
  • The gap between its ratings is the most telling fact in the file: 4.4 out of 5 on G2, 2.9 out of 5 on Trustpilot. The product is liked, the commercial relationship far less so.
  • Call recordings are hosted by default on AWS servers in the United States for accounts created before May 2022.

Our bias, stated up front

We make Skipcall, and we sell to the same teams as Aircall. We therefore have a direct financial interest in you not choosing them.

You should read this page knowing that. It is also why it is built the way it is: every claim points to a dated public document you can open yourself. The sources are listed at the foot of the page. Nothing here rests on our word alone.

An entire section below is devoted to what Aircall does better than us, and we had no interest in writing it. If anything here looks wrong to you, write to us: we will correct it and date the correction.

The advertised price is never the price paid

Aircall advertises a price per licence. That price exists, but no customer pays it alone: the contract requires three licences minimum, and that condition is not shown next to the figure.

What is advertised

$30

per licence per month, Essentials plan

What is invoiced

$90

three-licence minimum, per month

The consequence is mechanical: a team of two reps pays for three. A solo founder who wants to test pays for three. The unit price only becomes representative from three actual users, which is not the starting configuration of most teams comparing dialers.

The effect is sharper still on the Professional plan, the first one to include the power dialer. That is the plan to look at if you want a dialer, and it is the one whose entry ticket is furthest from the advertised price.

What to do about it

There is nothing improper about a minimum: plenty of vendors apply one. The problem is that it does not appear in the same place as the price, which distorts any comparison built from pricing pages. Before comparing Aircall to anything, reduce its offer to the real monthly cost of your exact configuration, licence minimum included.

What the reviews of Aircall are worth

Aircall is one of the few vendors on this market with enough reviews to be read seriously. What that volume says is unusual.

G2

4.4 / 5

over 1,500 reviews

Audio quality is the best-rated point in the category, at 9.1 out of 10. Ease of setup and CRM integrations come up constantly in positive reviews.

Trustpilot

2.9 / 5

1,081 reviews

The distribution is polarised: 58% five-star reviews and 29% one-star. The negative ones rarely concern features and almost always billing, automatic renewal and support responsiveness.

Rating distribution

5 ★ 58 %
4 ★ 9 %
3 ★ 2 %
2 ★ 2 %
1 ★ 29 %

A rating of 4.4 on one platform and 2.9 on the other: the gap is too wide to be a sampling accident. It is explained by what each platform captures. G2 collects user reviews about the product; Trustpilot collects customer reviews about the relationship.

The useful reading is therefore this: it is not the product being contested, it is the contract. The 29% of one-star reviews talk about automatic renewal, unexpected invoices and response times, almost never call quality.

What that changes for you: the product demo will teach you nothing about the real risk. The risk sits in the clauses. Spend your negotiation time on the anniversary date, the notice period and the conditions for reducing licence counts, not on features.

What Aircall does well

Four points we would rather not write, and which are true.

Audio quality is the best in the category

9.1 out of 10 on G2, across more than 1,500 reviews: that is not an impression, it is a measurement on a wide sample. For a team spending six hours a day on the phone, it is a first-rank criterion, and Aircall delivers it.

An integration catalogue no young vendor matches

Ten years of head start show up in exactly this place. If your software stack is unusual, the odds of Aircall connecting to it natively are higher than for any recent competitor, ourselves included.

The solidity of the vendor

A French company, more than ten years old, unicorn status since 2021, over 23,000 customers. For a procurement team assessing continuity-of-service risk, that is a far more comfortable file than a three-year-old vendor's.

Setup really is fast

It is one of the most consistent points in positive reviews, and it is not just marketing: several hundred independent reviews mention it. Deployment is not where you will run into trouble.

The five questions to put to them in writing

Copy these straight into an email. In writing, not on a call: a written answer is binding, a spoken one leaves no trace.

01

The real cost of your configuration

“We would be [N] users on the [Essentials / Professional] plan. Please confirm in writing the monthly amount excluding tax, the applicable licence minimum, and whether that minimum can be reduced mid-contract.”
02

Renewal and notice period

“What is the commitment term, the contract anniversary date, and the exact notice period to avoid renewal? Please specify the required form of the cancellation request and the address it must be sent to.”
03

Reducing licence counts

“If our team drops from [N] to [N-2] reps mid-year, can I reduce the number of licences billed before the annual anniversary, and on what conditions?”
04

The dialer actually available

“Does your power dialer call one number at a time, or several in parallel? Which plan exactly includes it, and is there a parallel dialing option on any plan?”
05

Where recordings are hosted

“Where are call recordings and transcripts stored for an account created today from France? Please send me the data processing agreement and the list of relevant sub-processors.”

Who it is the right choice for, and who it is not

Aircall is a good choice if

  • you want solid business telephony rather than a prospecting dialer
  • your team has at least three users, which makes the licence minimum painless
  • audio quality and integration depth are your two top criteria
  • you want an established vendor with ten years behind it and a solid continuity file

Look elsewhere if

  • you need parallel dialing: Aircall offers it on no plan
  • you are fewer than three and do not want to pay for three licences
  • you want to avoid annual commitment and automatic renewal
  • your recordings must stay in Europe without discussion

Frequently asked questions

How much does Aircall cost in 2026? +

The Essentials plan is advertised at $30 per licence per month on annual billing, and the Professional plan at $50. A Custom plan exists on request. The point the pricing page does not foreground is the three-licence minimum: the real entry ticket is therefore $90 a month on Essentials and $150 a month on Professional, whatever your actual user count.

Why does Aircall have 4.4 on G2 and 2.9 on Trustpilot? +

Because the two platforms do not measure the same thing. G2 collects user reviews about the product, and the product is liked: audio quality scores 9.1 out of 10 there. Trustpilot collects customer reviews about the commercial relationship, and that is where the grievances concentrate: automatic renewal, unexpected invoices, support delays. The 29% of one-star reviews on Trustpilot almost always concern the contract, not the features.

Does Aircall offer a parallel dialer? +

No. Aircall offers parallel dialing on none of its plans as of 7 September 2026. Its power dialer, available from the Professional plan, calls one number at a time: it chains calls from a list without the rep dialling, but it never opens several lines simultaneously.

Does Aircall require a minimum number of licences? +

Yes, three licences minimum. That condition does not appear next to the unit price on the price list, which distorts any comparison built from the advertised figures alone. A team of one or two reps therefore pays for three.

Where is Aircall customer data hosted? +

For accounts created before May 2022, call recordings are hosted by default on AWS servers in the United States. Aircall publishes a privacy FAQ and a data processing agreement detailing sub-processors and hosting regions. For an account created today from France, ask for written confirmation of the storage region for recordings and transcripts.

How do you cancel an Aircall subscription? +

Plans are taken with a fixed term and automatic renewal. It is the leading grievance in negative Trustpilot reviews. Before signing, get written confirmation of the anniversary date, the notice period and the required form of the cancellation request: those three items determine your ability to leave, not the quality of the product.

Can this review be trusted, published by a competitor? +

We make Skipcall and we sell to the same teams as Aircall. We therefore have a direct commercial interest in you choosing us, and you should read this page knowing that. Which is why every figure points to a dated public source, listed at the foot of the page, and why a whole section is devoted to what Aircall does better than us. If anything looks wrong, write to us: we will correct it and date the correction.

And where do we fit in

This page judges Aircall; it does not sell Skipcall. If you are at the comparison stage rather than the evaluation stage, the comparative analysis lives elsewhere and is written for that.
