Connected through the open API

# Connecting Skipcall to Waalaxy AI

The agent spots the hot prospect, the rep calls. No native integration, but no integration project either: the Skipcall REST API is open and documented, and an automation platform, or a coding assistant, is enough to bridge the two.

In brief

- **Skipcall has no native integration with Waalaxy AI.**
- The **Skipcall REST API, on the other hand, is open, documented and complete**: everything the product does can be driven from outside.
- The connection can be built **without writing a line of code**, with [n8n](https://skipcall.io/en/integrations/n8n), [Zapier](https://skipcall.io/en/integrations/zapier) or [Make](https://skipcall.io/en/integrations/make).
- To call the API directly, **a coding assistant such as Claude or Codex** writes the script from the documentation in a few minutes.
- What goes to Skipcall: the prospects flagged as hot by the agent, with the conversation thread.
- What comes back into Waalaxy AI: the call outcome, so the agent resumes or stops the conversation.
- **Allow an hour** for a first working scenario, and a few minutes if you have the script written for you.

## Why connect Waalaxy AI to Skipcall

Waalaxy AI hands LinkedIn prospecting to an agent: it picks the targets from your website, sources the prospects, writes the messages and runs the conversation up to the meeting. It also flags prospects who are ready to buy. That signal deserves a call, not one more message: the connection sends those prospects into Skipcall and reports back to the agent what the call produced.

Waalaxy AI belongs to the “outreach and sequences” family of our integrations. The call takes its place in the cadence, alongside email and LinkedIn.

## How it connects

There are two routes, and neither is slower than the other. Neither means waiting for a connector to be built, nor tying up a technical team for weeks.

Without writing code

### Through an automation platform

They call the Skipcall API on one side and the Waalaxy AI API on the other. You assemble the scenario with the mouse, with no server to host and no developer to book.

With a coding assistant

### By calling the API directly

Hand the [API documentation](https://docs.skipcall.app/api-reference/introduction) to a coding assistant: it writes the script in a few minutes. That is often the quicker route, and it avoids paying for a platform.

## What travels between the two tools

A connection through an API has one advantage over a fixed connector: **you decide what travels**, in which direction, and into which field. Nothing leaves that you have not planned, which also keeps your record of processing activities simple.

| Direction | What travels |
| - | - |
| **Waalaxy AI → Skipcall** | the prospects flagged as hot by the agent, with the conversation thread |
| **Skipcall → Waalaxy AI** | the call outcome, so the agent resumes or stops the conversation |
| **Available in the API** | call outcome, date, duration, recording, transcript and AI-written summary |

## Three concrete uses

1. Call every prospect the agent flags as hot within the hour.
2. Let the agent pick the conversation back up if the call reaches voicemail.
3. Measure how many hot prospects turn into meetings after a call.

## Getting started

Allow an hour for a first working scenario, a few minutes if you have a coding assistant write the script. The time goes on deciding what you want to move between the two tools, not on writing code.

1. **Create your Skipcall API key** From your Skipcall workspace, you generate a key that opens the API. It gives access to contacts, call lists and outcomes.
2. **Connect Waalaxy AI to Skipcall** In n8n, Zapier or Make, an HTTP module calls the Skipcall API on one side and the Waalaxy AI API on the other. No code to write, no server to host. If you would rather call the API directly, a coding assistant such as Claude or Codex writes the script from the documentation.
3. **Send the outcome back** At the end of every call, Skipcall exposes the outcome, the duration, the transcript and the summary. The same scenario sends them into Waalaxy AI, wherever you chose to put them.

20 to 25

calls an hour when dialling by hand

60 to 80

with a [power dialer](https://skipcall.io/en/power-dialer), one number at a time

150 to 200

with a four-line [parallel dialer](https://skipcall.io/en/parallel-dialer)

Those rates explain why sending the outcome back automatically matters so much. At twenty-five calls a day, a rep can still log them by hand in Waalaxy AI. At a hundred and fifty they will not, and your data becomes wrong without anyone noticing.

## What to know before you start

No native integration

Skipcall has no ready-made connector for Waalaxy AI. The four native integrations are [HubSpot](https://skipcall.io/en/integrations/hubspot), [Pipedrive](https://skipcall.io/en/integrations/pipedrive), [Salesforce](https://skipcall.io/en/integrations/salesforce) and [Attio](https://skipcall.io/en/integrations/attio). For everything else the open API does the work: expect a set-up rather than a button, but one measured in minutes or an hour, not weeks.

Before you switch recording on

Recording a call requires a documented lawful basis under the UK GDPR, information given to the people concerned beforehand, and a defined retention period; PECR governs the marketing calls themselves, with the ICO as the supervisory authority. These duties apply even when the recording is only used for internal training, and they do not disappear because the file travels through Waalaxy AI.

## Beyond Waalaxy AI

What syncs is set out on the [CRM integration](https://skipcall.io/en/features/crm-integration) page, and the [open API](https://skipcall.io/en/features/api) page describes what the interface exposes. The [MCP connector](https://skipcall.io/en/features/mcp-claude) also opens your call data up to an assistant, to question it in plain language.

For what gets said once the line is open, the [call script library](https://skipcall.io/en/scripts) gathers twenty ready-made frameworks. Plan details are on the [pricing page](https://skipcall.io/en/pricing).

## Frequently asked questions

**Does the rep see what the agent wrote?**

Yes, if the conversation thread is passed along with the contact: it lands in the Skipcall contact card, and the rep picks up where the agent left off.

**Are Waalaxy AI and Waalaxy the same tool?**

No. Waalaxy AI is a separate product, with its own application and its own subscription; the connection described here concerns the prospects the agent qualifies.

**Is there a native integration between Skipcall and Waalaxy AI?**

No. The Skipcall native integrations are HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce and Attio. For Waalaxy AI, the connection goes through the open REST API, either directly or through an automation platform.

**How long does it take to connect the two tools?**

Allow an hour for a first working scenario, and a few minutes if you have a coding assistant write the script. In most cases it is the scoping, not the technical work, that takes the time.

**Do you need a developer?**

Not in most cases. n8n, Zapier and Make call the API without a line of code. And to call the API directly, a coding assistant such as Claude or Codex writes the script from the documentation in a few minutes: that has become the faster of the two routes.

**Is API access charged separately?**

No. The open API is included in every plan, from the Starter plan, which starts at $70 per licence per month, from a single licence. Only the automation platform you choose, if you use one, has a price of its own.
