# Finding your way around the Skipcall app

Left menu, profile menu, banners and notifications: what each part of the Skipcall app does, and how to switch the app language.

Updated on October 27, 2026

The Skipcall app is built around two menus: the left menu, for work in the open workspace, and the profile menu at the bottom left, for your own settings and your organization’s.

## The left menu

Everything here applies to the workspace that’s currently open.

- **Workspace selector** (at the very top): switch workspaces or open **All my workspaces**.
- **Analytics**: your call and lead dashboard.
- **Contacts**: your contact database, imports, contact records and enrichment.
- **Tasks**: your reminders. The orange badge counts open tasks that are overdue or due today.
- **Calls**: the log of inbound and outbound calls, with a **Missed** tab.
- **SMS**: text conversations and the **New message** button.
- **Voicemail**: voicemails you’ve received, with a transcript when one is available.
- **Sequences**: call lists and the dialer.
- **Recordings**: playback, AI summary and transcript of your calls.
- **Configuration**: workspace settings. See [Workspace settings](https://skipcall.io/en/help/workspace-settings).
- **Dialpad**: call or text any number.
- **Notifications**: unread and archived notifications (for example, when an import finishes).

The arrow next to the logo collapses the menu into a narrow column of icons.

## The profile menu

Click your name at the bottom left. You’ll find:

- three usage icons: hover over them to see the calls, text messages and automations used against your quota
- **Settings**: your personal settings (the **MY ACCOUNT** section) and your organization’s (members, licenses, credits, invoices, phone numbers, API keys)
- **My account**: opens **Profile & Security** directly
- **Mobile app**
- **Help**: the help center
- **Status**: the service status page, [status.skipcall.io](https://status.skipcall.io/)
- **Log out**

## The “All my workspaces” view

Open it from the selector at the top of the left menu. The menu then shows only two items:

- **Workspaces**: your list of workspaces, where you create them and handle their payments
- **Analytics**: a combined view you can filter by workspace

See [Manage workspaces](https://skipcall.io/en/help/manage-workspaces).

## Things that pop up along the way

- **Chat bubble** at the bottom right: this is how you reach Skipcall support.
- **Toast notifications** at the top right: action confirmations (for example, “Sequence created successfully”) and new audio device alerts. The audio alert disappears on its own after about ten seconds; until then, it can cover the buttons at the top right of the screen (**Filters**, **Add contacts**, **Create a task**).
- **Pale yellow banner** at the top of workspace pages: your CRM integration has been disconnected. Click **Reconnect now**. See [CRM integrations](https://skipcall.io/en/help/crm-integrations).
- **Connection banner**: “Reconnecting to server…” followed by “Reconnected successfully” when the connection to the server dropped for a moment. If it doesn’t go away, check your internet connection, reload the page and look at the **Status** page.

## Change the app language

The app is available in English and French. Each user picks their own language.

1. Open the profile menu at the bottom left.
2. Click **Settings**.
3. Open **Profile & Security**.
4. Under **Appearance**, choose your **Language**.
