# Add a contact manually

Create a single contact in Skipcall from the Manual import tab, then add their email from the contact record, since the form has no email field.

Updated on October 27, 2026

To create a single contact, go to **Contacts** > **Add contacts** and pick the **Manual import** tab. Fill in the form and click **Add contact**.

## Create the contact

1. In the left menu, click **Contacts**.
2. Click **Add contacts** in the top right corner.
3. Pick the **Manual import** tab.
4. Fill in the fields you need (see the list below).
5. Click **Add contact**.

The contact then shows up in the **Contacts** table.

## Form fields

- **Last name** and **First name**
- **Company** and **Job title**
- **Phone number 1**: use international format, like the example shown (+33 6 06 06 06 06).
- **Add a phone**: to save more numbers for the same contact.
- **Country**
- **LinkedIn**, **LinkedIn Sales URL** and **URL**
- Your custom fields, followed by **Add a custom field**

## Add the contact’s email

1. In **Contacts**, click the contact’s row to open their record in a side panel.
2. Click **Edit**.
3. Fill in the **Email** field.
4. Click **Save**.

Another option, if the contact doesn’t exist yet: import them with a one-row CSV file that includes the email. See [import contacts from a CSV file](https://skipcall.io/en/help/import-contacts-csv).

## Common questions

### How do I add a second number?

In the form, click **Add a phone**. For an existing contact, open their record, click **Edit**, then the **+** button next to the phone number.

### I want to add a lot of contacts at once

Manual import creates one contact at a time. For a list, use the [CSV import](https://skipcall.io/en/help/import-contacts-csv).

### I don’t have the phone number or email

If the contact has a first name, a last name, and either a LinkedIn URL or a company name, you can run an automatic search for their email or phone number. See [enrich your contacts](https://skipcall.io/en/help/enrich-contacts).
